How to Downgrade iPhone 4 from iOS7 to iOS6.1.3 without SHSH Blobs Using 3uTools?
Some users want to downgrade iPhone 4 from iOS7 to iOS6, but Apple has closed its signing. Actually iPhone 4 with SHSH backup can be downgraded to any compatible firmware using 3uTools . But what should you do without SHSH backup? This tutorial can guide you to downgrade iPhone 4 to iOS6.1.3 without SHSH blobs.
Why iOS6.1.3? Because 3uTools Pro Flash supports iOS6.1.3 flash without SHSH blobs, and provides the “forced iOS downgrade”.
Please note that after the forced downgrade, you should use “3uTools tethered boot” to start your iPhone after it’s turned off.
Notes before downgrade :
Please backup your phone data before downgrade.
Turn off “Find My iPhone” , or you’ll need to use Apple ID to activate your iPhone after flash.
The iDevice will have no service after you force downgrade, because it skips the activation step. When you upgrade back to iOS 7.1.2, the device will have service.
3uTools only supports to downgrade iPhone 3,1 (Product type).
Part A: iOS downgrade
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to PC, start 3uTools, click “Firmware” to download iOS6.1.3.
Step 2. After it’s downloaded, click “Flash Jailbreak→Pro Flash→Select firmware ” to import the firmware “iOS 6.1.3”.
Step 3. Click “Flash now”, ensure iPhone in DFU mode to begin flash. After it’s failed to query SHSH for three times, 3uTools will show you the reminder of forced downgrade. Just click “Yes”.
Step 4. Please wait till the iOS downgrade is finished.
Part B: Jailbreak and tethered boot
1. Currently your iPhone has been forcibly downgraded from iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.3 without SHSH blobs, but can’t boot still. Then jailbreak iPhone in DFU mode, click “Flash Jailbreak→Jailbreak→iOS4.x/5.x jailbreak”.
2. 3uTools will remind you that “Jailbreak is completed! The device is processing, please wait for another 3 to 8 minitues. ”and at this moment your device will run a bunch of codes and pineapples.
3. Then your iPhone can’t boot still. Please click “Advanced→Tethered root” to start up iPhone with guidence.
4. Start up and activate iPhone. Then your iDevice will run iOS6.1.3.
Part C: Install plugin “Insomania pro”
Now you can use iPhone normally. If it becomes unbootable after the screen is locked, you’re supposed to install a plugin “Insomania pro” on Cydia.
You may add apt.so, and download the plugin “insomnia pro”.
At this moment you can use your iphone normally, and you may use 3uTools“Tethered boot ” to start up iPhone after each shutdown.

Downgrade iPhone 4s / iPad 2 to iOS 6.1.3 Using 3uTools
Now V2.17 3uTools supports downgrading iPhone 4s and iPad 2 to iOS 6.1.3 after jailbreak without SHSH.
After you downgrade to iOS 6.1.3, you can check iOS software update on your iDevice to upgrade to iOS 8.4.1.
Requirements
1. Download and install the latest version of 3uTools .
2. Download the corresponding custom firmware for your iDevice;

3. Jailbreak your iDevice: Please update your iDevice to iOS 9.3.5 to jailbreak .
4. This downgrading tutorial only applies to iPhone 4s and iPad 2 (Product type: iPad2.1, iPad 2.2, iPad 2.3 and iPad 2.4). You can check the product type of your device on 3uTools, then download the corresponding firmware.
Notes
This downloading would not save any data. You are suggested to backup your device before you downgrade.
Operations
Step 1 Launch Cydia and add repo: http://repo.tihmstar.net to enter KDFU mode (Please check the detailed tutorial ). Only when your iDevice is in KDFU mode, you can downgrade to iOS 6.1.3. Step 2 Launch 3uTools and go to “Flash & JB” -> “Pro Flash”, click “Import Firmware” and select the firmware you have already downgraded.
Step 3 After you import the firmware, click “Flash” on the right bar.
Step 4 Now 3uTools will automatically flash your iDevice, please confirm the connection between your iDevice and pc.
Step 5 Normally, it would take around 10 minutes to downgrade.
After the process is finished, you will see the familiar interface of iOS 6, now you can activate your phone and enjoy it.

How to Downgrade iOS?
You’re allowed to downgrade your iDevice from higher iOS version to lower iOS version only when Apple is still signing the old firmware. To downgrade your iDevice, the following stuff are necessary. For instance, a computer, the latest version of 3uTools or iTunes and a stable network.
First of all, you need to download and install the latest 3uTools on your computer. When it’s done, connect your iPhone to a computer using the USB cable.
Note: The downgrading process is the same for every Apple iDevice. Ensure you have backed up your iPhone if you don’t like to lose iDevice’s data.

Notes before flash:
1. Please use iTunes to backup your important data before flash.
2. Please directly connect your device to the computer via the USB cable, and don’t use the extension cable or front USB.
3. Ensure you remember your iCloud account and password, or your device can’t be activated after flash.
4. If the app immediately jumps to the main menu as you click the app icon after flash, please reinstall the app.
5. Check the box of “Don’t erase user’s data” so that your phone data can be stored.
6. Steps to enter DFU mode: Keep the device in normal mode or recovery mode, plug in USB cable (please don’t use USB extension cable); hold HOME button, then hold power button till the screen becomes blank; release the POWER button after about 4 seconds, but keep holding the HOME button for about 10 seconds.
Step 1. Ensure you have installed the iTunes on your computer, and then download the latest version of 3uTools.
Step 2. Click Flash Jailbreak→Pro flash→Query SHSH. And then you can see which firmware versions you can flash your device to if you have backuped the SHSH files before.

Step 4. Click the icon on the upper right corner to enter Download center, and please wait till the download is completed.
Step 5. Click Completed→click the yellow icon of “search” to confirm the firmware location.

How to Downgrade iPhone 4s, iPad 2 From iOS 9.3.5 to iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 8.4.1?
Here is the good news that firmware iOS 6.1.3 (for iPhone 4s, some types of iPad 2) is still signed by Apple. This means you can restore your iPhone 4s/iPad 2 back to iOS 6.1.3 in 3uTools immediately.
Compatibility:
iPhone 4s, iPad 2 type 2.1/2.2/2.3.
Please note: this downgrade not available for iPad 2.4, and 3uTools would detect it automatically on Easy Flash.
Note: You are suggested to back up your important data on 3uTools before downgrading.
