Find the Prime Video app on your phone or tablet and open it.

You can select videos to watch from the home screen to start watching instantly or scroll to Included with Prime to view videos included in your membership. You can also toggle on the Free to Me option in the upper-right corner to filter out videos that require an additional cost.
You can also search for, rent, or buy many other titles that aren’t included in your Prime membership.
Select the movie or television series you want to watch, and then tap the blue Play Movie icon to immediately start streaming the video on your device.

Commercials. Prime video did not have commercials for years, with Amazon raking in enormous profits year after year. Amazon’s success has been so huge it has destroyed real-life retail giants. so why do Prime subscribers suddenly have to see commercials now? To support the prime streaming service? Amazon made $72.4 billion (that is a B) in 2018, up $10 billion from the previous year. and the only way to support prime videos is with ad revenue? That dog don’t hunt. 2.) UI — All streaming services seem to be UI-challenged and Amazon is getting worse. Here are some hints for their UI design team. Remember Cognitive Psychology/HCI folks, common sense will always trump a focus group in basic design. -Continue watching should ALWAYS be at the top of the screen. I can’t tell you how many times I have literally had to use the search function to find a movie I was watching before. That is horrible, but less a waste of time wading through endless poorly organized thumbnails of movies I wasn’t just watching. -MOVIE Categories (drama, horror) should be accessed in a pull-down menu also at the top of the screen. 3. Don’t be like Netflix, minmize your original productions/series. quality over quantity. The Netflix model is failing. massively. If you play your cards right you can pick up subscribers fleeing from their service. I am one of your faithful customers, but the Prime Interface and revenue model needs work. UPDATE: Prime Video is Officially Horrible. Look at the screenshot I posted. The Prime Interface is now littered with recommendations from all kinds of upsells..from movies to TV, to channels like Stars and Cinemax. all crap I don’t want. but have to now wade through to find what I do want..you know. what I am currently PAYING FOR. If I want to browse genres for my prime subscription (Drama, Horror) by category I now have to scroll down to ROW 21. That’s right, there are 20 rows of content (eight of which are upselling) that I have to scroll through to get there. Downgraded from 2 stars to 1 for the combination of unbelievable GREED (upsells) and HORRIBLE USER INTERFACE design choices. Amazon if you are going to throw in all this garbage, give the user the option to CUSTOMIZE the interface to see ONLY what they are paying for. Unbelievable.
