Apple and orange kid

Theories Topic for some amount of time that I’m too lazy to look up right now:

Theory of the Week! (lol week):

It all started just a month ago. Twoson was hosting the first-ever Eagleland Science and Engineering Festival, and all the greatest designers of Onett, Twoson, Threed, and Fourside were planning to attend, without a doubt. The grand prize was, after all, $10,000 in cash. Likewise, two close childhood friends, nicknamed Apple and Orange Kid, were bound to compete, teaming up together to create something truly amazing on account of their love for science. …And, of course, they could use the money.

The two locally-renowned child geniuses collaborating on a large-scale invention was going to be tough to beat. And besides that, Apple and Orange Kid didn’t have much opposition, with most of the world’s other top inventors residing far away— in Winters, Foggyland.

Twoson citizens were without a doubt; their childhood heroes would win it all, guaranteed.

Unfortunately, our youthful inventors suffered from… creative dissonance. While Orange Kid was set on creating an invention that would “spread peace and goodwill on Earth”, Apple Kid’s ideas were centered more on novelty gadgets and machines, which his friend immediately dismissed as useless and silly. Orange Kid found his “pencil eraser” proposal to be particularly ridiculous.

Seizing control of the materials budget and the creative input, Orange Kid began building his greatest work yet. His plan was to create a revolutionary power source, one that could power houses, schools, entire cities… even an alien’s secret base! Orange Kid was positive that this would be the great creation that would benefit all mankind. Unfortunately, like most of Orange Kid’s inventions… it didn’t work.

Fortunately, however, Apple Kid fixed it right up, even increasing the machine’s efficiency tenfold! Orange Kid had always been amazed by, yet somewhat envious of his friend’s technological expertise…

Anyways, the kids’ invention astonished the judges, audience, and competitors to no end, and as all would come to expect, Apple and Orange Kid walked home with first-place trophy, and the $10,000 grand-prize. Orange Kid figured that he never really had to try ever again. He already had it all: the fame, the glory, the honor, the girls (Yeah, you remember, “I’m nuts about this one kid inventor. No, not that airheaded, dweeby Apple Kid. I’m talking about the incredibly hot Orange Kid!”), and the money, which he apparently had to split with his friend.

But Orange Kid proposed that he deserved a greater portion, since he was the one who came up with the idea in the first place. Of course, while acknowledging this, Apple Kid retorted that he was the one who made their invention work, and therefore it should be a 50-50 share of the dough. Orange Kid agreed with this, gave his buddy the $5000, and everything was well between them.

…That is, until both children woke up the next day to find their prize money missing. Orange and Apple Kid were wholly convinced that one had stolen the other’s money, and they had been holding the grudge with each other ever since. But who was the real culprit? Well, that one’s pretty obvious!

…Oh, yeah, and the machine was stolen, too.

Apple Kid is a character in EarthBound. He’s one of the two inventors residing in Twoson, the other being Orange Kid. The people of Twoson don’t think much of Apple Kid because at the first glance he appears to be a lazy slob. Despite that, Apple Kid ends up being an important supporting character in the game who invents many conveniently vital items that Ness could not have proceeded without. Apple Kid lives with the No Name Mouse.

The first time Ness talks to Apple Kid, he requests a food item and $200.00 to fund his experiments. Shortly after Ness funds him, Apple Kid invents the Pencil Eraser, which erases pencil-shaped iron statues. Ness just so happened to need this in order to cross Peaceful Rest Valley, along with many other areas throughout the game that are blocked off by Iron Pencils.

Apple Kid’s next invention is the Zombie Paper, which gets delivered to Ness in Threed by a Mach Pizza deliveryman. This item is used much like fly paper, but used for zombies instead, which is just what was needed to get rid of the zombies infesting Threed. After placing the paper in a circus tent, the zombies blocking the way to Grapefruit Falls were taken care of.

Once Ness destroys the Evil Mani Mani in Fourside, Apple Kid invents the Yogurt Dispenser which dispenses trout-flavored yogurt, and sends an Escargo Express deliveryman to give it to Ness. The dispenser is given to Pokey’s maid, Electra, who allows Ness and Jeff access to the penthouse of the Monotoli Building in return.

Apple Kid later collaborates with Dr. Andonuts to invent the Eraser Eraser which works like the Pencil Eraser except that it erases eraser-shaped statues. This was needed in order for Ness and his friends to get into the Stonehenge Base, which was blocked off by an Iron Eraser.

Finally, Apple Kid collaborates again Dr. Andonuts, as well as the intellectually advanced Mr. Saturn to create the Phase Distorter, which unfortunately gets stolen by Pokey, and later the Phase Distorter versions 2 and 3, which allow Ness and friends to travel backwards in time and confront Giygas.

This article is about the character. You may be looking for Annoying Orange — Kid Bubblegum.

Bubblegum (also known as Kid Bubblegum) is the main character in the Annoying Orange episode «Annoying Orange — Kid Bubblegum». She is voiced by Rebecca Parham, the owner of the channel Let Me Explain Studios.

Bubblegum has three states, candy, bubble, and popped. When she is a candy, she is round and dotty, when she is a bubble, she is round, her dots are gone and she has the ability to float (but she can’t control herself). When she’s popped, she’s dark pink, she is irregularly shaped and loses her ponytails. She talks nonstop and never gets tired of it. Her annoying talking makes people irritated, usually asking her to shut up by asking her to blow a bubble. When someone talks directly to her, she will interrupt him or her before he or she can even say two words.

Contents

Background

Bubblegum can be a candy, a bubble, or popped. She only appears in one episode called «Kid Bubblegum», where she is introduced.

Bubblegum is disliked by anyone she talks with, this is because she talks all the time, without stopping. Bubblegum also interrupts people when they talk directly to her. She annoyed Orange, Midget Apple (or Little Apple), and Pear, much like the orange in More Annoying Orange.

It is unknown why she is so talkative, possibly because she is born this way, or something she experienced that made her talk so much. It is most likely not because of heredity because she is the only one in her family with this trait.

She practices to break the world record for largest bubblegum bubble blown, her brother says she’ll never do it, but her mom and dad are supportive of her dream. She thinks that they are because blowing bubbles keeps her mouth shut, but she also thinks they’re just supportive. Her mom also says she should eat vegetables to grow bigger, but she doesn’t like the taste of vegetables, and she has best friends as vegetables.

Personality

Bubblegum is optimistic, hyperactive, happy, nice, talkative, and annoying; much like Orange. She interrupts people if they talk to her directly. For example, Bubblegum asks for Orange, Pear and Midget Apple’s (or Little Apple’s) name, Pear tries to tell her, but she interrupts him.

She can stop talking by blowing bubblegum bubbles, which she loves to do; so things that interact with her usually ask her to blow bubblegum bubbles.

When she pops, she is embarrassed, and she tells them things she is talking to not tell her mom (because she is also embarrassed when she pops). She makes a lot of enemies because of her annoying personality, but she doesn’t mind (or even notice), and considers them as friends.

Biography

Bubblegum used to live in an old kitchen that had grasshoppers and a bowling alley nearby. She moved out to Heyapple Avenue and her house has a swimming pool. She now lives near Dane Boedigheimer’s house , where the series’ setting is for most of the time.

She was supposed to help her parents unpack the moving truck, but instead, they said she should go outside and get some air (but this is most probably because they’re tired of her talking), her grandmother also tells her to meet her new neighbors. She visits the kitchen and meets Orange, Pear, and Midget Apple (or Little Apple) and tries to make friends with them, but instead, they are annoyed of her talking.

She has a grandmother, mother, father, sister, a dog, 3 gerbils named Snap, Crackle, and Pop, 2 ferrets named Furball and Muffin, and 34 grasshoppers in a jar named Dave, Sammy, Mister Crinkles, Roberto, Susan, Dia, Clint, Double Baggins, Ronaldo, Jiminy Grasshopper, Jan, Fran, Pan, Dan, Stan, Fan, Chan, San, Bam, and several others. She is thinking of getting a 4th gerbil, but can’t decide on the names Crispy, Pudding, Biscuit, Sonny Bono, Moonbeams, Duckface (or Ducktape), Fancy Butter, Chicken Little or Steven Zorbit.

It is unknown if she has a grandfather or not.

Relationships

Neighbors

Overall, all of Bubblegum’s neighbors think she is very annoying.

Orange

Orange makes jokes about her less than normal, but still does, but she doesn’t mind and keeps talking.

Pear is the one who asked her to blow a bubblegum bubble, which made her stop talking for a while, but she became a bubblegum bubble in the process, and blocked the basketball hoop, causing Orange, Pear and Midget Apple (or Little Apple) unable to play the game Horse (but they find a way around it). She was blown by the wind and it caused her to go up to the fan and pop.

Midget Apple (or Little Apple)

Midget Apple (or Little Apple) was the first one to invite Bubblegum to play the game Horse with them, but it backfired. He was the first one to respond to Bubblegum.

Family

Overall, they are also annoyed by her talking.

Grandmother

She told her to meet her new neighbors, which was, of course, Orange, Pear, and Midget Apple (or Little Apple).

Mother

She is strict but also caring for her, but she is annoyed by her talking as well, she is supportive of her dream of blowing the largest bubblegum bubble ever blown.

Father

He is caring, but annoyed too. He is also supportive of her dreams.

Brother

He thinks that she’ll never be able to break the world record for the largest bubblegum bubble ever blown.

Friends

Vegetables

Some vegetables with unknown names were her best friends, this is also a reason why she doesn’t like eating vegetables.

Background [ ]

Orange is depicted as an exasperating anthropomorphic orange. He is the central character in the series, though not always the main character in some episodes.

Orange is disliked by many characters, because he heckles them in many ways, such as spitting seeds, mistaking them for other things, and making childish noises. In the episode More Annoying Orange, another Orange comes and actually annoys Orange, which is in contrast to what it is originally. Not much is known about Orange’s past, but it is confirmed that he actually was born the day he debuted.

It is unknown if Orange gets such joy of annoying other people, but on possibility is that any other orange is like that. Another possibility is that he just likes puns and jokes, and doesn’t pay attention to how people is being annoyed, according to his friend Passion Fruit.

Biography [ ]

In October 9, 2009, Orange was born and put on the counter in Dane Boedigheimer’s kitchen where he met Apple, who he annoyed some time before the first episode was recorded. He has met oodles of fruits and vegetables, and usually infuriates him, and some survive (much to their horror). He is a friend of Pear.

Later in the series he meets Passion Fruit, who he has some feelings for, and Passion thinks of him as a friend most of the time.

Orange is a major part in the kitchen as seen in Wishful Thinking, because if Orange didn’t exist, Pear wouldn’t know how know how to talk to other fruits and vegetables, Midget Apple of injured Grapefruit, and Marshmallow would have been killed by hot chocolate. He currently lives in the kitchen and shares counter space with Pear and Passion Fruit (and in some episodes Grapefruit)

Relationships [ ]

Pear is Orange’s best friend. Although constantly annoyed by Orange, Pear has since changed his stance on Orange and the two have been very good friends. Also, in some of Pear’s first appearances, he had suicidal thoughts.

Passion Fruit [ ]

Passion Fruit is a good friend of Orange, and his love interest. Orange tries to deny that he really loves Passion, as seen in The Sitcom.

Midget Apple [ ]

Orange befriended Midget Apple in Crabapple , and though always constantly annoyed by Orange calling him «Midget Apple» instead of «Little Apple», (as he prefers) they are good friends.

Marshmallow [ ]

Marshmallow and Orange are also close to each other, and they have been on adventures together (sometimes even private), and Orange cares very much for Marshmallow (as seen in Wishful Thinking , when Orange was horrified by the death of Marshmallow).

Apple [ ]

Orange likes Apple on a side, but Apple seems to dislike Orange.

Grandpa Lemon [ ]

When Orange and Grandpa Lemon first met, Orange was constantly annoyed by Grandpa Lemon’s tendency to fall asleep and his bad hearing, but after Grandpa Lemon’s resurrection, they have remained friends.

Orange [ ]

In season 2, Orange meets an even more annoying orange, who he even takes pleasure of watching him get knifed.

Grapefruit [ ]

Grapefruit and Orange used to be enemies, Orange called him «Chubby McChubby Orange», and Grapefruit also uses puns, but aside from Orange, Grapefruit meant to annoy, terrorize and hurt people with his puns and other mean things.
