Apple’s Limited Warranty http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/ for iPad excludes coverage for damage resulting from accident, disassembly, unauthorized service and unauthorized modifications.
The warranty will apply to the country of purchase. And if there is a problem needing repair you have to return it to the country of purchase.
Out-of-Warranty Service
If you own an iPad that is ineligible for warranty service but is eligible for Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Service, Apple will replace (Apple doesn’t repair) your iPad with an iPad that is new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability for the Out-of-Warranty Service fee listed below. (The replacement will most likely be a refurbished iPad in a brown box, however, it has a new screen, back and battery.)

Neither the Apple Warranty nor AppleCare will cover damage from accidents , drops, spills, etc. They only cover manufacturing defects. AppleCare+ provides some coverage for accidental damage , but is only available for the iPad and iPhone.
Apple will examine your iPhone before we confirm the repair price. Most screen repairs are caused by accidental damage, which isn’t covered under the Apple warranty.
If your screen cracks due to a manufacturing defect, it’s covered by the Apple warranty and consumer law.
If you have AppleCare+, it includes two incidents of accidental damage coverage. Each incident has an excess fee that you can apply towards screen repair. If you don’t have AppleCare+, your costs will vary.

Schedule onsite service to have an Apple Authorized Service Provider come to your home or office to complete your device repair. Onsite service is available in select locations and has an additional site-visit fee. This additional fee will be waived if your iPhone is covered by AppleCare+.

What to expect
The Apple Store and many of our Apple Authorized Service Providers offer same-day service for screen replacement. If your technician needs to send your iPhone to an Apple Repair Center, you’ll be notified when it’s ready for pickup.

Battery replacement
If your battery has an issue that’s covered by the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, we’ll service your iPhone at no additional cost.
Our warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use. If your battery wears down, we offer out-of-warranty battery service for a fee. If you have AppleCare+, it covers your iPhone for no additional charge if your product’s battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity. We might need to test your product to find the cause of your battery issue.
