Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple
Some purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Books, or other Apple services might be eligible for a refund. You can use any device with a web browser to request a refund.
How to request a refund
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- Tap or click «I’d like to.»
- Choose «Request a refund.»
- Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next.
- Choose the item or items that you bought, then choose Submit.
If you can’t request a refund on reportaproblem.apple.com
If the charge is pending, you canʼt request a refund yet. After the charge goes through, try to request a refund again.
If you have an unpaid order, you need to pay for that order before you request a refund. You might need to update your payment information.

You can request a refund. You can also cancel the subscription.

What happens to your iCloud storage when you sign up for Apple One
Apple One is designed to give you the best value for your Apple services. If you already pay for an iCloud+ plan, learn what happens when you sign up for Apple One.
If you already have an iCloud+ plan
If you purchase an Apple One subscription, either for yourself or for your Family Sharing group, learn what happens to your current iCloud+ plan below. If you use one Apple ID for iCloud storage and one for Apple Media subscriptions, learn what to do.
If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is more than your current plan
Your current iCloud+ plan is canceled and you’ll receive a pro-rated refund. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription.
If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is equal to your current plan
During the free trial, you keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One. Once the trial is finished, your current iCloud+ plan is canceled. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription.
If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is less than your current plan
You keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One.
If you prefer to keep only the storage included in your Apple One subscription, you can downgrade or cancel your current iCloud+ plan.

If you need more iCloud storage
After you subscribe to Apple One, you can buy more iCloud storage if you need more. With both Apple One and an iCloud+ plan, you can have up to 4TB of total iCloud storage.
If a family member subscribes to Apple One
If you belong to a Family Sharing group and a family member subscribes to an Apple One Family or Premier plan, you can choose to keep your current iCloud+ plan or use the shared iCloud storage in Apple One.
If your family needs additional iCloud storage, the family member who purchased Apple One can buy more iCloud storage. With both Apple One and an iCloud+ plan, your family can share up to 4TB of total iCloud storage.
If you have more than one Apple ID
iCloud Private Relay is not available in all countries and regions.

How can I return my item?
Holiday Return Policy
Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between 1 November 2021 and 1 January 2022, may be returned through 20 January 2022. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased. All purchases made after 6 January 2022 are subject to the Standard Return Policy.
Standard Returns Policy
Returns can be arranged via our online Order Status website in one single step.
Returns are subject to Apple’s Sales and Refunds Policy. If you change your mind, you can return your Standard hardware to us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Software returns are also accepted within this period, but only if the software was not unsealed. This option is in addition to your consumer rights to return defective products. Click here for more details and check “What happens if I have received a defective item” below.
If you do wish to return your order, or just certain items from it, please use our online Self Service website or contact us. Be sure to to provide the following details:
- Your Web Order Number.
- The full address from where we can collect the goods.
- A contact phone number
On receipt of your e-mail, we will provide you with a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number. Indicating this number clearly on the packaging of the goods you are returning will help ensure that your returns are processed quickly.

iPhone and iPad returns — mobile service cancellation
Mobile providers have different service cancellation policies. Returning your iPhone or iPad may not automatically cancel or reset your mobile account; you are responsible for your mobile service agreement and for any applicable fees associated with your mobile account. Please contact your provider for more information.
How long does it take to process my refund?
Once your goods are back at Apple’s warehouse, your refund will be processed. Please allow 5-7 days for the refund to reach your account.
What happens if I have received a defective item?
If you’re having trouble with your new Apple product or believe it is defective, please call Apple Care immediately to report your defective product. If you are having trouble with non-Apple branded hardware, or believe it is defective, please call Apple Store Customer Service immediately to report your defective product.

Apple One-Year Limited Warranty or, in the case of products that are not Apple-branded, the product manufacturer’s warranty (as appropriate) are separate from and in addition to consumer rights provided under UK consumer law. My invoice has not been shipped with my order.
Within 2-3 days of your order being dispatched, you should receive an official Apple invoice by e‑mail.
If you do not receive this invoice, or if you require an additional copy for your records, you will be able to print your invoice on our Self Service website.
Prices are inclusive of VAT (5%) but exclusive of delivery charges unless otherwise indicated. The order form shows you the VAT payable on the products you select.

Apple Store for Education
Thanks for shopping at Apple. We appreciate the fact that you like to buy the cool stuff we build. We also want to make sure you have a rewarding experience while you’re exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our products, whether you’re at the Apple Online Store or on the phone with the Apple Contact Center. (To make it visually easier on both of us, we’ll refer to these entities as the «Apple Store» in this policy.)
As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at the Apple Store. By placing an order or making a purchase at an Apple Store, you agree to the terms set forth below along with Apple’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Eligibility
Individuals eligible to purchase from the Apple Store for Education include teachers, staff, students and parents as follows:
- Employees of any education institution — Any employee of a public or private education institution in UAE is eligible.
- Tertiary education students — Students attending or accepted into a tertiary education institution in UAE are eligible to purchase.
- Parents of tertiary education students — Parents purchasing on behalf of their child who is a student currently attending or accepted into a public or private tertiary education institution in UAE, are eligible to purchase.
Purchases from the Apple Store for Education are not for institutional purchase or resale.
Purchase Quantity
Those eligible to purchase from the Apple Store for Education will be allowed to purchase the following quantities of products per year. Not all products have special Education Pricing.
- Desktop: One (1) may be purchased per year
- Mac mini: One (1) may be purchased per year
- Notebook: One (1) may be purchased per year
- iPad: Two (2) may be purchased per year
- Accessories: Two (2) accessories with Education Pricing may be purchased per year
The above purchases can be made either online or in an Apple Retail Store. Total product quantities remain the same regardless of where your purchase is made.
Returns
We fundamentally believe you will be thrilled with the products you purchase from the Apple Store. That’s because we go out of our way to ensure that they’re designed and built to be just what you need. We understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we invite you to review the following terms related to returning a product.
To return an undamaged product purchased at the Apple Store, please contact us at 8000 444 0396 between 10:00 and 19:00 Sunday to Thursday within 14 days from the date you receive the product. Once we receive your returned product, we’ll exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. Please note the following:
- Products can be returned only in the country in which they were originally purchased.
- The following products are not eligible for return: electronic software downloads, subscriptions to the Software-Up-To-Date program, Apple Store Gift Cards, and any Apple Developer Connection products.
- Apple provides security features to enable you to protect your product in case of loss or theft. If you do not disable these features prior to returning your device, Apple may refuse the return or exchange.
- Opened software cannot be returned if it contained a seal with the software license on the outside of the package and you could read the software license before opening its packaging. As an exception, you may return Apple-branded software if you do not agree to the licensing terms; however, you may not retain or otherwise use any copies of returned software.

Wireless Services
Some Apple products utilize wireless services that may incur extra costs and are governed by the terms of a separate agreement between you and your selected wireless service provider.
Pricing and Price Reductions/Corrections
With regards to pricing, Apple reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at/on the Apple Store at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the Payment & Pricing page.
Should Apple reduce its price on any Apple-branded product within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your product, feel free to visit an Apple Retail Store or contact the Apple Contact Center to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Apple within 14 calendar days of the price change. Please note that this excludes limited-time price reductions, such as those that occur during special sales events. Price protection is only available for up to 10 units of a particular product. Additionally, we may require that you have the product with you or otherwise have proof of possession when requesting price protection.
Order Acceptance/Confirmation For Online and Call Center Purchases
Once we receive your order, we’ll provide you with an email order confirmation. Your receipt of an order confirmation, however, does not signify Apple’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. The Apple Store reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If Apple cancels an order after you have already been billed, Apple will refund the billed amount.
Shipping & Delivery
Please review the Shipping & Pickup page to learn about how and when you will receive the products you purchased from the Apple Store. Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond Apple’s control once it leaves our facilities, Apple cannot be held liable for late deliveries. We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.
As Apple takes care of the dispatch of the products you purchase on the Apple Store, the risk of loss of, or damage to, product(s) shall pass to you when you, or a person designated by you, acquires physical possession of the product(s). Title in the product(s) shall pass to you when the product(s) is picked up by the carrier from our warehouse. At this point, you will receive the Shipment Notification Email. If there are any issues with delivery, please contact Apple to resolve.
Consumers Only
The Apple Store sells and ships products to end-user customers only. You may not purchase products at the Apple Store for resale, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if we suspect you are doing so.
Apple One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty
Apple provides a one-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for any new Apple branded product. The applicable warranty terms and conditions can be reviewed at http://www.apple.com/ae/shop/legal/warranty/ and are also contained in your Apple hardware box. The Apple One-Year Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not Apple-branded, even if packaged or sold with Apple products. Non-Apple branded products may have the benefit of a manufacturer’s warranty provided by the product manufacturer — please see your product box and literature for details.
UAE Sales Only
The Apple Store accepts orders from billing addresses within the UAE. Apple will not ship products purchased at the Apple Store to an address outside of the UAE. Please click here to find an Apple Store outside of the UAE. Apple products are subject to applicable export control laws and regulations and must be purchased, sold, exported, re-exported, transferred, and used in compliance with such export laws and regulations. If you do plan to export an Apple product to another country, you must obtain any legally-required export licenses (or other government approvals) prior to doing so.
Product Availability and Limitations
Given the popularity and/or supply constraints of some of our products, Apple may have to limit the number of products available for purchase. Apple reserves the right to change quantities available for purchase at any time, even after you place an order. Furthermore, there may be occasions when Apple confirms your order but subsequently learns that it cannot supply the ordered product. In the event we cannot supply a product you ordered, Apple will cancel the order and refund your purchase price in full.
Audit Rights
Apple routinely audits the purchases of customers at the Apple Store for Education to ensure that all purchase conditions have been observed. Should we discover that you have not observed all of the conditions applicable to your purchase, you authorize Apple:
If you placed your order by credit card, to charge to your credit card the difference between the amount you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the same goods at the Apple Store, in effect on the date that you placed your order; and If you paid by a means other than credit card, to (a) invoice you for the difference between the amount that you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the same goods at the Apple Store, payable in fifteen days from the date of the invoice, and (b), should you fail to pay the invoice when due, institute legal action against you in a court of competent jurisdiction, with the prevailing party entitled to attorneys’ fees. Should Apple not offer to the general public the specific products that you purchased at the Apple Store for Education, your credit card will be charged or you will be invoiced the difference between the amount you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the closest equivalent goods at the Apple Store, in effect on the date that you placed your order.

Payments
If you are paying by credit card, when you submit your order, we may block up to the total amount of the order on your credit card. If we do not receive authorisation from your credit card issuer, we will inform you so that you can provide us with another payment method. Your credit card will be charged once we accept your order.
We reserve the right to verify the identity of the card holder. To ensure that your credit or debit card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against information held by the card issuer and integrator. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to such checks being made.
