Фирменный магазин Apple Беверли Центр — розничный магазин сети, созданной и управляемой компанией Apple.
Большой и стильный торговый комплекс, состоящий из 8 этажей, расположился в районе Беверли-Гроув, где работают множество магазинов и ресторанов. Район Лос-Анджелеса Беверли-Гроув получил свое название в честь расположенного недалеко известного торгово-развлекательного комплекса The Grove.
Apple Beverly Center осуществляет продажу компьютеров Macintosh, OSX и другого программного обеспечение для этой платформы, iPod, iPhone, iPad, а также другой продукции Apple и аксессуаров сторонних производителей для неё.
Магазин располагается на 5 этаже большого торгового комплекса Beverly Center.
История
Стив Джобс был не рад тому, в каких условиях продаются товары Apple. Он это объяснил тем, что компьютерная техника продавалась в обычных торговых центрах, в которых не было фирменных отделов, поэтому техника Apple и других компаний располагались буквально на одной полке, и консультантам было выгодно продать любой из этих товаров. Кроме того, магазины электроники чаще всего располагаются на окраинах города, где аренда ТЦ гораздо ниже.
Уже к концу 1999 года Стив Джобс начал планировать создание специализированного магазина Apple и нанял себе команду. Был создан прототип магазина — помещение с одним входом, разделённое на четыре части, по числу основных продуктов, выпускаемых Apple на тот момент: iMac, iBook, Power Macintosh G3 и PowerBook G3. Но эта идея не понравилась команде, было решено разделить магазин на секции, которые будут разделяться по предназначению продукции.
Первые два магазина Apple Store открылись в мае 2001 года в городах Маклин (Вирджиния) и Глендейл (Калифорния). В Европе первый магазин был открыт в ноябре 2004 года в Лондоне.
В августе 2016 года компания Apple отказалась от названия Store, и стала использовать в названии магазинов приставку улицы или торгового центра к слову Apple. Так и появился Apple Beverly Center.
