KeyPad emulates a combination keyboard and mouse. If you connect to an iPad you have full mouse and keyboard control. Just press Control + Option (reconfigurable).

Using the mouse with an iPhone requires that you go to Settings | Accessibility | Touch and enable assistive touch.

To connect KeyPad to your device:

1. Launch KeyPad preferences screen
2. Click “Launch Bluetooth Settings” on the Mac (Makes KeyPad discoverable)
3. Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and connect to the Mac
4. Once the connection is complete the KeyPad window will pop up.

That’s it; you’re done! Anything you type in the KeyPad window will now go to your phone. Use a hotkey Command+Option+P (reconfigurable) to launch and hide KeyPad.

A better keyboard:

Function-Tab works like Command-Tab to switch applications on the iPad
