How your data is used

Obviously Perfect

A critical part of the Apple experience beyond elegance in design, beyond product reliability, and beyond integrity in handling those rare occasions when support is needed, is simple thoughtfulness. The facility of use, the intuitive UI, and the ease and simplicity of discovering more and more commands effortlessly is what makes the Apple experience what it is. This is at the root of the deeply held loyalty of Apple customers.

This app is an extension of the Apple experience for purposes of buying from Apple. Nothing bad, nothing surprising, it just works as you would expect it to. Perfectly.

Disappointed

I tried to order some apple products this past Black Friday weekend with no resolve. I tried to pay for the items in my cart using Apple Pay which has my debit card, two different credit cards, and my one-week-old Apple Card. All cards have a close to zero or zero balance and work for reoccurring monthly payments as well as recent purchases at my regular grocery shopping. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with over four different phone calls with three additional apple employees. I figured there were issues with Apple being overloaded with Black Friday/Cyber Monday orders on Saturday, so I tried Sunday and again on Monday. I tried all my Apple Pay payment options and always got “Payment Not Processed.” I made sure my iOS and Apple store app were up to date. I deleted and reinstalled the Apple Store app. I restarted my phone—all of which the Apple employees had me do again over my phone calls with them. So Thursday and Friday, the apple store didn’t work. I invested in the Apple ecosystem to not deal with tech issues. I invested three extra hours in helping Apple become aware of its problems and get more orders. I missed out on the $25 Black Friday gift card, and this issue still isn’t resolved within this version of the Apple Store app and my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I wish someone would help me as much as I have helped apple become of this issue.

Don’t recommend

So on October 12 I ordered AirPods through the apple online store expecting really good service well NO I ordered them on October 12 and it said they would arrive around oct 20-22 well It took longer than that and I was like ahh it’s probably just late days pass and pass so it’s nov first and I had to do some so I contacted customer service through service wanted to save time and was attended really well but I told him my order was taking longer than what it was originally supposed to be I wasn’t trying to make a big deal he said yea my package got lost and he would REPLACE it for a new pair. I check my order status and it says I have to return air pods in order to get a replacement but wait I never even got my AirPods so I was tired of it and callled customer service and this guy was very RUDE about and said he couldn’t find my billing order so I was really frustrated about that. Later that day I called again because this wasn’t okay anymore so I called and this really nice lady helped me out and omg my billing number was there so she helped me out and today I received my stuff but don’t recommend it’s too much of a problem for a simple object not worth it don’t purchase from here just go to the store. You should be any age to use it.

I’m a 12 year old boy and I’m about to turn 13 which is a few months from now. The app is rated 4 and up but you have to be 13 to use?! That’s makes no sense to me. I don’t care of it’s in beta or what but yeah. The app is something I’ve really wanted for a long time, ever since I saw the screen saver app on a phone at the store. Please change it and I will change to a five star an I will be satisfied. Sorry for the way I speak, I always sound mad. 😂

Cant use on device me and my son share bc he’s 12

Well so much for that.. I tried to use it and it told me I was too young. I’m 30. But I got my son an iPad and we share it for diff things it has a lot of space to keep apps unlike my phone and I can’t do much of anything because somewhere along the lines it found out he’s 12., although I created a whole new Apple ID and specifically said it was my birthdate etc. it still found out he’s 12. So this app blocks anyone under 13. Like a lot of apps. But it’s annoying and no one takes into consideration that families share devices. So they still put this age restriction on their apps so if you ever ( I’m guessing set up child screen time) or let you kid have their own Apple ID and was honest about their age. Or it somehow found out the person mostly using it is 12….your screwed.. out of a lot.. until that child finally turns 13. I’ve had this problem for years but finally I have 4 more months before the device and age restricted apps..recognizes me as anyone older then 13

Iterations Stop Here!

In reality, this Test Flight App is just as bad as the rest of the horrible apps that ended up being downloaded but do not function nor do anything they are advertised to do. Frankly I’d like to know how some of these apps made it into the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, are they coming from another App Store and overwriting the Official Apps from displaying. Nobody ever seems to have any answers, nor can correct the many issues that have been submitted to the the various departments. At this juncture I want all my fees refunded and the use of my information stopped as many boundaries have been crossed, and it isn’t worth me loosing out on communication, productivity, privacy, nor profitability. Get it together and let’s be reasonable, because these games and obvious avoidance of resolutions is sickening.

FIX THE BUGS

PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU APPLE. iOS 15 brought lots of bugs and defects to the mail app for iPhone. I need to use my mail and this was super frustrating and inconvenient. Now, after iOS 15.1 supposedly “fixed mail crashes” (it was crashing), the app is now slightly usable but still EXTREMELY buggy, unreliable, and STILL crashes. Every email takes about 15 seconds to appear once I tap on it. Every time I try to move mail to another folder it disappears briefly, but then isn’t in the folder I moved it into, and then it just reappears in its original folder and says I haven’t read it. The “Read” system is also completely not working. The date at the bottom of the app that says “Last Updated” often says dates that were weeks or even months ago when I have new mail from today. Half the time I press the screen while using the app it doesn’t even register. Folders never open. I can’t delete mail. When I double tap the home button and swipe the app away, it doesn’t refresh when I open it again. It just stays how I left it the last time, on a frozen screen with a button that has been pressed but isn’t working. The app is I SUPPOSE a fraction better then the iOS 15 beta but gosh, it’s just impossible to use. I honestly expect more.

Please, Apple. Just fix this stupid app so I can use it again.

Problems with Microsoft Outlook sand IOS 15

Apple Mail worked perfectly with Outloook until I downloaded IOS 15. I could not open any emails. I restarted my iPad twice and that didn’t correct this problem. I deleted Apple Mail and downloaded that App twice and I still could not open my emails on Apple Mail. The Apple App kept stating that I already was using my current Outlook email address and asked if I wanted to set up another email address in AOL, Yahoo, and Outlook!! I didn’t want to delete Outlook and reload it for fear that I would lose my contacts and my mailboxes. I can’t wait until Apple or Outlook revises their Apps until IOS 15 is compatible with Apple Mail or Outlook. I’ve switched to Edison Mail and it works well.

So much potential ignored

Email has been around since the beginning of the Internet. And Apple Mail has changed very little over that time. This app gets the basic job done. They’ve added some unsubscribe and anti-pixel tracking features (to keep advertisers frustrated), other than that though it hasn’t added much else.

The spam filtering is hit or miss. Smart mailboxes that you setup on macOS do not sync to iOS or iPadOS. Folder (mailbox) configurations don’t sync either — so you’re forced to organize your folders constantly.

When I see products like Hey and how they’re trying to innovate and rethink the problem of email I wish Apple did more themselves. All the ML technology in iOS devices and it’s not used for their Mail app in ways that make my life better. So there’s a lot to be desired here — uncreative.
