Breach & Clear – пошаговая тактическая стратегия, в которой игроку предлагается возглавить отряд специального назначения и бороться с террористами со всего света. Для того, чтобы начать прохождение, пользователю необходимо набрать команду из четырех бойцов, а также выбрать элитное подразделение, к которому будет относится отряд. После рекрутинга настает время борьбы с мировым терроризмом: нужно выбрать миссию на географической карте и отправиться на ее выполнение.
Каждый уровень представляет собой несколько помещений и локаций, которые занимают противники. С помощью пошагового геймплея игрок пытается нейтрализовать цели. Каждый член отряда отличается своими характеристиками и вооружением. Исходя из этого, необходимо задавать им траекторию движения, после чего наблюдать за действиями бойцов. В случае правильных манипуляций отряд успешно выведет из строя врагов и будет готов к следующим командам. За успешное выполнение заданий на счет команды начисляется игровая валюта, на которую можно приобрести новую амуницию и оружие, и очки опыта.
Геймплей может показаться однообразным, но это компенсируется разнообразностью решаемых отрядом задач и необходимостью продумывания каждого шага. Также не дадут заскучать зрелищные сцены перестрелок с добавлением эффекта замедления и отличная 3D-графика с видом сверху. В общем и целом, Breach & Clear является отличной тактической стратегией, которая заставит напрячь извилины и обязательно развлечет.
