Citrix workspace apple m1

Question: Q: Citrix Workspace and new M1 MAC MINI

Can you advise if CITRIX Workspace will work on the new M1 MAC MINI, I use this to remotely log into work from home.

Mac mini 2018 or later

Ye, it can work, however respond a bit slow. Besides, you need to try different browser.

In my case, it initially break on all browsers, apart from FireFox.

Then I update the MacOS to 11.0.1 it then work perfectly on FireFox, Safari, but not able to work on Chrome (or sometimes frozen)

I am currently using Mac Mini 2020 8Gb (M1 Chip). Citrix Version: Citrix Workspace 20.10.0.16. System in Critix: Windows 10.

I can report back that yes, it works. I seem to be having some graphics issues on one display though, but not sure if it’s related to Citrix or not.

OK — after working on Citrix back-to-back with a month-old base Mac mini and new base-model M1 Mac mini, connected to the same data center, I can tell you that the M1 legit flies even under Rosetta. Graphic issues were remedied for the most part by updating to 11.0.1.

I am using the new M1 Mac Mini with 16GB of RAM to work from home. Citrix Workspace works well and is really responsive on the M1. I experience minor quirks if I put the machine to sleep with Citrix on both monitors. I have had to exit full screen and go back into full screen. These quirks are very minor and would not prevent you from working with an M1 machine.

I can confirm the minor graphics issues persist — one monitor will occasionally come up blank when waking from sleep, but you simply unplug and replug and it’s back. Not sure if it’s related to Citrix or not because I’ve had it happen outside of Citrix IIRC (but it’s seldom). And even then, it’s just the monitor connected through Thunderbolt using a cheap Amazon USB-C to mDP to DP converter. Definitely not a reason to not get one.

I absolutely LOVE this machine. Where the Mac mini i3 struggled with nearly everything to the point I wanted to «Office Space» it, the M1 is. a marvel and a reminder of why I’ve been loyal to Apple since the dark days of Gil Amelio.

I just had an issue where one of the monitors in Citrix was there but not in full screen when I woke up. I just needed to put it in full screen mode.

It doesn’t work on my MacBook Air 2020 (M1). Every time I get a security warning from Citrix Workspace, saying I got a reroot machine. I changed security settings with help from Apple but that doesn’t solve the problem.

2. Tap ‘Request Help from Support’; This generates an email with log file.
3. Send the email to your company’s IT support team.

Option 2
1. In the App Store, go to Citrix Workspace
2. Tap ‘Reviews’ and then tap ‘App Support’ found at the bottom right of the screen.
3. This launches the Citrix support forum where you can review reported issues OR
4. To report issues, tap the menu icon and create an account first.
