Stop promoting reels insanely

I get the fact that Instagram wants to expand its user base remarkably and grab all the traffic of tiktok. But then you can’t disrespect your old people who have been following your old algorithm and have grown at a snails pace in last two years. We have invested so much money and energy to reach where we are today. I am still struggling to get my 2000 followers to reach 30k since one month. And new accounts are touching 100 in a week. Are you trying to mock at us Instagram? What are you up to? Sorry but we can simply shift to reels like that. It works on a different algorithm plus we can’t droop to that level and create mindless videos which doesn’t impart any value other than fun. Had we loved tiktok why would we have remained so consistent with you. Plz do something for your old accounts as well. Or else we might leave your platform and go elsewhere. Many have started leaving as well. Instagram has become nothing less than a garbage now with stupid jokes and vulgar dances etc. Please respect your old and basic work ethics. Thanks.

Action blocked ( need immediate action and help )

These is 4th time happen in last few days and your team didn’t support.I’m a very regular and a very fond user of Instagram. I never really had any complaints but from yesterday my Instagram account faces problem regarding action block and I didn’t logged off but your app msg shows that I logged off when I logged in through the app but it said that the account has been compromised as I have shared my account details with a third party which was not the case by the way . I was asked to change my password and I change it then my all action was blocked like I can’t like any picture of my followers and unable to send requests, accept the request and comment it has been block for 7 days . This is very frustrating I reported so many times but didn’t get any solution and I mailed also but didn’t get reply . I have never violations any community guidelines of social media playform. I’m not involved in third party app . I request you to review my account again and recify this issue as soon as possible. It happens two times I reported so many time but didn’t get any solution from your team. If this happens more than you will be loosing your users soon.

30 sec length option not available in my reels Instagram account

Hi there , Instagram has introduced reels and that’s very appreciative for us but something is wrong with my instareels . I m not able to record 30 sec videos as I m not having option for that only 15 sec is given to my reel . And this is like a fool of me bec everyone is having all functions all features so why not me ?? Most of the times I wanted to make videos of 30 sec but I can’t bec I m not having that why this happens to me ?? Why this inequality?? If u want to launch things then launch them properly so that everyone will get proper functions and features . And m adjusting always on 15 sec but some videos , some sounds can’t be done in 15 sec and tell me one thing why to adjust ?? If insta reels is for everyone , everyone is having proper arrangements so why not me ?? If m having adjustments what is the benifit of ur being ur big name INSTAGRAM kindly help me out of this and offer 30 sec option on reels of mine now this is really become trouble . Help me out Instagram.

Actions blocked

I just have to say I’m fed up to have my account blocked for literally every day for anything I do. This app supposed to be fun to interact with people as many people all around the world. The all purpose is to connect with people. I was following people I knew on my suggestion and the next thing I was blocked there was no warning I didn’t really get it on why it happened. I had Instagram in the past and I never experienced it. So I decided to wait it out and i tried again I was blocked for 6 days and after my six days I had 10 followers who followed me and I went to follow one back, Instagram blocked me yet again I reported this but never got any response. With do all respect but Instagram you need to advertise a sort of a guidelines when using Instagram on how many followers you need to follow a day or unfollow, comments or likes? Etc.. this way we know what action to take or not to take and please give some sort of warning example you reached 30followers for the day please give an hour or a day before you follow. Something that will help us understand better the rules and what can and cannot. Please resolve this because I love interacting with many diverse backgrounds and this is just annoying and it takes the fun of such a brilliant app.

Smaller Issues

I love this app and I have been with it for a long time and I have seen it grow. There are however some smaller issues people overlook and don’t really notice. However once you do notice these issues they become quite annoying.
One of these for example is stories and music. When you take a photo and add a gif to it, the story only last as long as the gif does (unless it’s a video) which is especially irritating if you have added 15seconds of music but it only plays 6seconds of that song because that is how long the gif lasts for. I suggest changing it so what ever gif you choose just repeats for as long as the story is.
Another feature is editing comments, it’s irritating when complimenting someone’s work or adding to a discussion and you either forget points or make grammar errors. Can’t it be like captions?
Final thing is the suggestions of “people you might know”. I have accounts I would rather people from my school or acquittances didn’t see without me having to block each one individually or putting my account on privet. I am sure I am not alone with this issue. Not saying to get rid of the people you might know section, but maybe adding like a “ghost mode” so your account won’t be suggested to those accounts.
But overall I love this app, here are just some smaller issues to fix which could help improve it.

Easy to use, yet trying to keep up with the competition

Hi there! I just got Instagram a week ago and I will have to say, it is a great way to connect with my friends, see what they are up to and a great source for school clubs and events. However, I have heard news that Instagram is becoming a social media video sharing app instead of focused on the photo aspect. This is highly disappointing because we already have so many different apps that are MEANT for videos. A lot of my friends are artists and photographers who make money through Instagram. This is where they are most likely to switch over to another platform. I completely understand why they are doing this, but that is just gonna tear the app apart. I would like the people of Instagram to reconsider this update that is up and coming soon. Or even ohh right now, who knows. If you want to add more video features, go ahead, but please don’t throw artists, business and photographers down the drain like that. Make sure to give both parties the right amount of attention. Besides that, I absolutely adore Instagram and how much security privacy it goes for private accounts such as my own. Either way, I really hope you see this Instagram and reply. I know a lot people who are considering leaving the app cause of this new update. Thank you so much for your time!

Hard To Navigate with the New Layout

first off i’d like to say that i’ve been using instagram since 2015. i’ve seen some changes over the course of these past few years that were very good for the overall use of the app, and some that just made navigating the app more difficult. the main reason why instagram has become so popular over the years was it’s simple layout that made it easy to access and interact with followers and discover people. but now, in 2020, likes and view counts are hidden, the feed isn’t in chronological order, the algorithm only allows you to see posts of only a handful of people you follow, and now the notifications have moved. if instagram wants to keep its users satisfied, then they need to go back to the classic look. keeping the classic layout with home, explore page, upload, notifications, and profile at the bottom makes the app easier to navigate. there is no reason why the shopping bag needs to be on the bottom bar because not everyone shops from instagram. there are a lot of scammers on the app! instead of changing the layout, instagram needs to fix the algorithm, put posts on the timeline back in chronological order, get rid of bot and spam accounts, and remove accounts/posts that don’t follow the community guidelines. now more than ever, there are many accounts that spread hate and misinformation! why was changing the layout a priority? fix it and bring likes and view counts back!
