Оружельцы, знакомые по первой части, снова отправляются в путешествие по подземельям, где им повстречаются опасные враги и сложные ловушки. Управляя персонажами, игрок должен преодолеть все барьеры, уничтожить противников и выбраться из Оружелья. Прохождение усложняется повышенной динамичностью и быстрым передвижением всех героев.

Перемещаясь с уровня на уровень, игрок будет встречать разнообразных пришельцев, которые владеют многочисленными видами оружия. В некоторых локациях способности монстров могут изменяться, поэтому пользователь должен внимательно следить за действиями противника. Чтобы противостоять нападению, герой может использовать любой из предметов, разбросанных по локации, а также уворачиваться, подпрыгивать и нагибаться, избегая выстрелов или ударов.
