Добавление учетной записи Exchange

Выберите «Настройки» > «Пароли и учетные записи» > «Добавить учетную запись» > Exchange.

Подключение к серверу Exchange Server

После ввода адреса электронной почты выберите «Войти» или «Настроить вручную».

Нажмите «Войти» для автоматического поиска данных учетной записи Exchange. Если для вашей учетной записи используется современная проверка подлинности, запустится соответствующая процедура аутентификации.

Нажмите «Настроить вручную», чтобы настроить учетную запись со стандартным способом аутентификации. Введите пароль электронной почты, затем нажмите «Далее». Также может быть запрошен ввод дополнительных сведений о сервере, которые можно получить у администратора сервера Exchange Server.

Синхронизация содержимого

Можно синхронизировать данные программ «Почта», «Контакты», «Календари», «Напоминания» и «Заметки». По завершении нажмите «Сохранить».

Изменение настроек Exchange

Нажмите «Настройки» > «Пароли и учетные записи», затем выберите учетную запись Exchange. Также можно настроить автоматические ответы при отсутствии на рабочем месте и изменить периодичность синхронизации программы «Почта». Чтобы изменить дополнительные настройки, нажмите имя учетной записи для изменения таких настроек, как SSL и S/MIME.

Question: Q: How to Import Exchange contacts into ICloud

After adding a corporate e-mail to my personal cell phone to have work access out of office, the Contact Sync option defaulted to the Exchange Corporate contact back up. Therefore all my personal contacts I added after this entry synced to the Corporate E-mail account. Not good when you delete the Corporate E-mail from your phone.

To make sure this doesn’t happen to you:

Immediately after you add corporate account, go back to SETTINGS>Accounts & Passwords> and have your ICloud auto sync ALL contacts (Or your Gmail account/whatever you use most-personally Iphone is the only APPLE device I have-this fix is geared towards that).

If you don’t do this- you’ll end up with my issue- NO CONTACTS after you delete your Exchange account from your default E-mail app.

To FINALLY retrieve my personal contacts from my Corporate E-mail I had to login to Outlook from a computer, export the CSV file, Upload file to my GMAIL account contacts folder (old GMAIL/it will show you how to do this), then I can export that VIA VCard, then login to my ICLOUD, go to Contacts>settings>Import VCARD and I FINALLY see my contacts in my ICLOUD.

This process is silly and not feasible for a company that has HUNDREDS of field users who sync their e-mail independently without double checking if the corporate Exchange account starts to manage their contacts on a personal phone. Even more difficult if you leave that company and no longer have access to download the PST or CSV file.

Question: Q: Save Contacts from Exchange to iphone

I wanted to know that if there is a way to save the contacts that get populated by exchange to the iphone. For example, I have setup my exchange account on my iphone, I sync the contacts to my phone, so whenever I have to add a new contact I create it in my outlook and it works perfectly..

My issue was, I recently left the company i was working for and as soon I left, the exchange was cut off and with that all my contacts disappeared as well. I wanted to know if there was a better that whatever contacts I create in exchange, I can copy it directly to my phone so in an event if I am no longer a user to that exchange server I still have access to my contacts.

I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. I used exchange to sync my old RAZR contacts to my iPhone, and now even my new contacts go there instead of to the iPhone.

I’m going to guess this issue is going to come up a lot these days.

You are going to have to export the contacts from your office Outlook exchange account to your personal Outlook account (if you have one) on your home machine regularly. Use a .pst file. Don’t import duplicates. The contacts are populated by the exchange server ONLY, once Exchange is active on the phone. Should you leave the company, they leave too. It would have been a nice option to choose which contacts the phone uses or even for it to save your personal contact, but alas. If you intermittently export your contacts to, say, your pop mail Outlook account at home, you’ll be able to repopulate the phone if you stop using your office Exchange account by syncing these. There may be other ways around this, but this is the only one I know. «Apple. workaround is our middle name»

And here’s a real bummer too. If for some reason you can’t get access to EDGE or G3, your contacts list is empty until you can get access. From what I can discern, the phone does not store them anywhere when exchange is active. They are strictly live.

Contact info available on the iPhone regardless the source is included with your iPhone’s backup, which is updated if needed as the first step during the iTunes sync process. The problem is so is email account setup info. Restoring from the backup also restores email account settings.

I don’t believe what your provided in your last paragraph is correct or accurate. I access a MobileMe account with my iPhone with over the air syncing enabled for contact info. When I turn on Airplane mode which disables all radios with no internet connection, I have access to contact info on my iPhone. If I disable over the air syncing or delete the account, contact info on my iPhone is also removed. I believe the same applies to an Exchange account or should.

This is not new — not with my MobileMe account, which I use for syncing contact info over the air with my iPhone.

Contact info synced over the air is available on your iPhone without an internet connection, but obviously in internet connection is required in order to sync contact info with the online address book for the account.

If you leave the company along with your Exchange account no longer being active, syncing contact info over the air will no longer be possible. I don’t know if the account no longer being active along would erase all contact info from your iPhone, but deleting the account from your iPhone or turning Contacts off for over the air syncing will remove all contact info from your iPhone.

You can sync contact info over the air with an Exchange account and/or with a MobileMe account, or you can sync contact info direct with a supported application on your computer via the iTunes sync process. You can do one or the other, not both at the same time.

Contact info on your iPhone is included with your iPhone’s backup, which is created and maintained by iTunes, but so is email account setup info. If you leave the company with your Exchange account no longer being active, you can restore your iPhone with iTunes to restore contact info, but your Exchange account settings would be restored also. Since you would have over the air syncing enabled for your Exchange account on your iPhone, this would prevent you from syncing your iPhone’s contact info direct with a supported application on your computer via the iTunes sync process.

Long story short, your Exchange contact info may remain on your iPhone, but your contact info may be eventually lost since your Exchange account would no longer be active. You would probably receiving constant error messages about your Exchange account not being able to connect, and you wouldn’t be able to sync contact info direct with a supported application on your computer, and if you delete your Exchange account from your iPhone in order to do so, this will also delete all contact info from your iPhone.

You would probably need to export your Exchange account info from a computer used at work to access the account, followed by importing the contact info into a supported address book application on your computer at home, followed by syncing your iPhone with the supported address book on your computer via the iTunes sync process after deleting your Exchange account from your iPhone.

I had the same situation and solved it like this:

Downloaded ‘Sync in a Blink’ from the App Store (a program that syncs contacts with GMail)

Performed the sync. Now my iPhone contacts were there in my GMail account.

Switched off the exchange account (all the contacts disappeared from my phone).

Reset Sync in a Blink (under ‘settings’). This is important, otherwise it will want to delete all your GMail contacts.

Ran the sync again, selecting the ‘merge contacts’ option.

That’s it. Now my contacts are saved on the phone and not dependent on an exchange server I no longer use.
