Мука пшеничная 125 г
Пекарский порошок 1 ч. л.
Соль 0,25 ч. л.
Сахарная пудра 2 ст. л.
Масло сливочное 50 г
Яйцо 1 шт.
Ванильная эссенция 1 ч. л.
Молоко 110 мл
Цедра апельсиновая 1 шт.
Яблоко 4 шт.
Масло сливочное Без соли 50 г
Мед 2 ст. л.
Финики 100 г
Корица Молотая 1 ч. л.
Миндальные хлопья 15 г
Ванильное мороженое для украшения
Предварительно разогреваем духовку до 180°C. Просейте муку и пекарский порошок через сито в большую миску, и смешать с солью, и сахарной пудрой. Добавляем туда кусочек сливочного масла и перемешиваем до консистенции хлебной крошки в кухонном комбайне. Затем вбиваем яйцо в кувшин с ванильной эссенцией. Туда же наливаем молоко и перемешиваем. Яблоки очищаем от кожуры и косточек, нарезаем. Выкладываем в сковороду с нагретым сливочным маслом и обжариваем на нем яблоки , затем поливаем медом. Измельченные финики и корицу добавляем к яблокам, а так же всыпаем туда часть апельсиновой цедры. Готовим все это на огне несколько минут, убедившись, что яблоки равномерно покрыты медовой карамелью. Готовую яблочную начинку следует разделить на 4 равных части. В формы для выпекания выкладываем сначала яблоки, а затем сверху покрываем тестом. Посыпаем миндальными хлопьями и выпекаем 20 минут до золотистого цвета.
Подаем готовый пирог в горячем виде, посыпав его сахарной пудрой и украсив шариком ванильного мороженого.

Apple-pie Spiced Porridge

Ingredients

  • 150g jumbo rolled oats
  • 4 dates, stoned and finely chopped
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground allspice
  • 2 eating apples, cored and cut into chunks
  • 400ml semi-skimmed milk, plus extra for serving
  • Sea salt

Cooking instructions

  1. Put the oats, chopped dates and spices into a medium heavy-based saucepan with three-quarters of the apple chunks and add a pinch of salt. Pour in the milk and 400ml of hot water and stir over a medium heat until the porridge begins to simmer.
  2. Simmer gently for 15–20 minutes, stirring regularly for a creamy consistency. The apple chunks will collapse into the porridge and the liquid should all be absorbed.
  3. To serve, spoon into warmed bowls and top with the remaining apple chunks. Serve with a little jug of extra milk on the side.

Swap the cow’s milk for soya, rice or oat milk, or, for a very lean version, just make it with water.

A traditional apple pie is as endless as they come, it is one of those favorite comforting desserts. It features a classic sweet-tart or butter pie crust that surrounds a spiced apple blend. Sometimes served with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream know as “à la mode”, or in certain parts of the world with cheddar cheese. It usually has a beautiful crisscross lattice top crust, or apple pie crumble.

How to Make Gordon Ramsay Apple Pie Recipe

Refrigerating the pie dough after a fast knead lets time for the gluten to settle built-up in the dough, this makes it easier when rolling and shaping. It also stops water, butter from mix together and interacting with the flour too soon, keeping the flaky, airy pockets in the finished product.

Step 1. You want to first start making the filling by caramelizing the apple. Mix the cinnamon nutmeg and sugar together. Peel the apples then core and quarter, cut the qtr. into large thick chunks. Then put them in a bowl and shank the spiced sugar to coat the apple chucks.

Step 2. You are going to fry the apple chunks in two bunches: in a wide, nonstick frying pan you are going to melt half the butter, then add half of the apple chunks, and fry until golden and caramelized around the edges over high heat, around 5 mins. Step 3. Now, preheat your oven to 375°F. Roll out around half of the sweet pastry on a lightly floured countertop surface to about ⅛-in. thick. The turn over an 8-inch pie tin on top of the sweet pastry and cut out an irregular circle a little larger than the pan.

Step 4. Place pastry in the pie pan to line, pressing down lightly to get rid of any air pockets, and trim off the extra pastry. Now roll out remaining sweet pastry into one more circle, once more a little bigger than the pie pan, for crust top.

Step 5. Ladle the cool fried apples equally into the pie shell. With a little water Brush the rim of the bottom crust, then place the top of the crust over the pie. To seal pie Push down lightly to trim off the extra pastry. Crease the edges and brush with egg wash on the top to glaze.

Step 6. Cut a small cross in the center so that vapor can escape throughout cooking you do so by using the tip of a paring knife to. Then shank a little sugar on top.

Step 7. Place pie in the oven and bake until the pie crust is golden brown and crisp, about 35 – 40 minutes. Make sure you let stand to cool for 15 – 20 minutes before cutting to serve.

Steps To Make Gordon Ramsay’s Apple Pie

1. For The Pie Crust

To make the pie crust, add your sugar and butter to the food processor. Pulse it until it makes a crumbly mixture. Then, add the eggs to it and mix for half a minute. When the egg is combined, add the flour to it and mix until a rough dough is formed.

Take this roughly formed dough on a flour-dusted surface and knead it with your hands. Add a teaspoon of cold water to it and knead it until a smooth dough is formed.

2. Roll It And Chill It

After you have made a smooth dough, roll it out and then place it in a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and then put the dough in the refrigerator to chill for half an hour.

3. For The Filling

Take a large bowl and add the apple chunks to it. Mix the sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon and add it to the bowl with apples. Toss it, so the apples get covered with the sugar and spice mixture. Now, melt butter in a non-stick frying pan and add this mixture to it. Cook until the apples get caramelized. It’d be better if you cooked the apples in two batches.

4. Make That Pie!

Take the chilled pastry out of the refrigerator and roll it to a thickness of ⅛ inch. Cut it in a round shape, just a little larger than the pie pan. Line the pie pan with the pastry and press it firmly. Cut the top pastry in the same way so that it is a little bigger than the pie pan.

Put the filling in the pie pan and cover it with the top crust. Make small cuts in the pie and bake it in a preheated oven for 40 minutes until it looks golden. Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes. Then, serve a slice topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
