Great service/product, terrible app

Guru is truly a fantastic, lightweight knowledge management product. My team of over 100 people use it everyday, and find it to be the perfect balance of power and simplicity, and recommend the browser-based UI to anyone.

However, it seems that the iOS app is an effort to “check the box” and say they have an app — but the app is near useless. It DOES let you search and view content. Great. What about commenting? nope. What about creating new cards? Nope. What about editing existing cards or adding tags? nope. It’s purely a content access app — while there is some value in that, it barely scratches the surface of what people would want to do on a mobile device (commenting, for example)

Can’t navigate, can only search. Disappointing.

I like the guru site but this app is dismal. It is iPhone only and I want to use it on my iPad. It runs but only lets me see recent notes or search. It does not let me navigate the hierarchy of entries created on the site.

I’ll stick with a browser until they come out with a true iPad app.
