Consequently, hacking an iPhone isn’t exactly easy if you take the usual route. What’s the usual route? Finding chinks in Apple’s software armor and forcing your way through with ace your ace hacking skills. You’ve seen hackers do it on TV.
But what do you do when you don’t have any hacking skills to speak of? How do you hack an iPhone then? Can it even be done? Yes, it can be done! It’s not hard either if you have the right tools that take care of the advanced hacking part for you.
In this article, we give you 5 simple software-based methods to hack an iPhone. You don’t need technical skills for any of them:
Table of Contents
Part 1: How to Hack an iPhone
The easiest way to hack an iPhone is with the Spyic app. Not only does the app give you full access to the target iPhone, but it can also be set up remotely. You don’t need to get your hands on the target iPhone and risk the owner finding out.
Spyic is one of the most advanced spy phone apps on the market. Its cutting-edge technology allows it to hack iPhones without jailbreak. Most iPhone hacking apps on the market require you to jailbreak the target device for them to work.
1.1 How to Hack into Someone’s iPhone with Spyic
How do you use Spyic to hack someone’s iPhone? Here are the simple steps to follow to set it up:
Step 1: Sign up for a Spyic account. Your email ID becomes your username.
Step 2: Purchase a subscription. You can choose between Family, Premium, and Business. The Premium version allows you to monitor 1 device. The Family version is for 5 devices and Business is for 25.
Step 3: Enter the target iPhone’s Apple ID and password. Wait for Cocospy to sync up with the device.
Step 4: The Cocospy dashboard will show up. From here, you can remotely monitor the target iPhone.
1.2 Spyic gives you total access to the target iPhone
Spyic offers a huge number of features. Almost every activity on the target iPhone is logged for you:
- Calls: You can see all the calls made from or received on the target device. Spyic logs start times, end times, and also gives you a list of the most frequent callers. Contacts: Spyic gives you access to the target iPhone’s contact book. You’ll get contact names, numbers, addresses, occupations, and other related information. Messages: Spyic records all messages and iMessage activity. Even if the user deletes an iMessage, Spyic will still be able to share the information with you. Check how to hack iPhone messages here >>Locations: Wondering where your target is today? Spyic shares periodic location updates. You can see addresses, geographical coordinates, and timestamps. Browser history: Which websites does your target frequent? Spyic can tell you. It shows you the target’s browser history and also provides mini-site descriptions. Even if the history is cleared, Spyic will save the information. Photos and videos: Every photo and video downloaded and saved to the target device can be viewed. Spyic also lets you save any photo or video you want. Check how to hack iPhone camera and view pictures here >>Social apps: On iOS, Spyic shows you WhatsApp and LINE activity. The Spyic developers are working hard to give you access to Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat without jailbreaking. Calendar: What important dates have your target saved on their calendar? Spyic shows you all the important upcoming events and dates.
1.3 Why is Spyic one of the most trusted iPhone hacking apps around?
Most iPhone hacking apps on the market don’t work. In fact, some steal your personal information and infect your device with malware. Spyic, however, is a legit app. It’s highly trusted and has been vetted by its large user base.
Here are the top reasons why Spyic is one of the most reliable apps around:
- Works without jailbreak
Jailbreaking is difficult. If it goes wrong, it can brick the target device. Also, jailbreaking voids the device warranty, not to mention make the owner suspicious. Fortunately, Spyic is advanced enough to hack iPhones without jailbreak.
- Can be set up remotely
Spyic for iOS is fully-web based. There are no software downloads involved. You can set up Spyic remotely in less than a handful of minutes. Once Spyic is installed, you can also control it remotely from the Spyic dashboard.
- Impossible to detect
If you’re hacking someone’s iPhone, you don’t want them to find out. This could damage your relationship with them. Fortunately, Spyic for iOS can’t be detected as it’s web-based. Your target will never suspect they’re being monitored.
- No technical skills needed
You don’t need any technical knowledge to set up Spyic or use it. You’re provided with easy-to-understand installation steps. You just have to follow them. The app can be installed within a few minutes.
- Trusted by a million users
Over a million people use Spyic. The user base comprises of parents, employers, cybersecurity professionals, and people from all walks of life. The app is actively used in over 190 countries all over the globe.
Part 2: How to Hack an iPhone Remotely
Most iPhone hacking solutions in the market need you to have actual physical possession of the iPhone you want to hack. This isn’t always possible.
If you want to spy on someone’s iPhone without making them aware, you can’t exactly ask for their iPhone so you can hack it.
2.1 How to Hack Someone’s iPhone without Having Their Phone with Cocospy
That’s where Cocospy comes in. Cocospy is one of the only monitoring apps that can hack iPhones remotely. The setup process can be done via any phone or PC browser. You don’t even have to be near the iPhone to hack it or monitor it afterward.
There are multiple advantages to using Cocospy, which happens to be one of the most reliable iPhone spy apps on the market:
- Set up without having the iPhone in your hands
Cocospy, as we mentioned, can be set up completely remotely. All you need to do is sign up for a Cocospy account and input the target’s iCloud credentials.Cocospy will then sync up with the iCloud backup to show you what’s happening on the target device. Be discreet
Because Cocospy essentially works with the target iPhones iCloud backup, it’s impossible to detect. There are no software downloads involved. The target iPhone won’t be slowed down in any way, like what happens when you install a spy app on it. Monitor iPhone activity remotely
Cocospy shows you all the activity taking place on the target device remotely. You can view call logs, messages, locations, calendar events, social media apps, and much more. You get periodic updates whenever an iCloud backup is created. Use without jailbreak
If you jailbreak the target iPhone and install an app on it, it will void the warranty. It will also make the owner suspect they’re being spied on. Luckily, Cocospy works with target iPhones without you needing to jailbreak them.

Part 3: How to Hack iPhone Passcode
You know you can hack an iPhone directly with Spyic or Cocospy. But what if you want to get at someone’s iPhone passcode? What do you do then?
What you need is a keylogger utility. Keyloggers record all keystrokes made on the target device. That means when your target types in their iPhone passcode, it will be recorded for you. You can easily figure out the iPhone passcode this way.
How do you get a keylogger? Both Spyic and Cocospy include keylogger utilities for iOS. The keylogger is one of their standard features. If you want to use the Spyic keylogger, log in to the dashboard and look for the keylogger option in the selection panel on the left.
As you have probably figured out, the keylogger will also record everything else typed on the target iPhone. That means you can potentially get login credentials for social media apps, email accounts, and much more.
Part 4: How to Hack into an iPhone from a Computer
You can use HelloSPY to hack into an iPhone from a computer. HelloSPY is a well-known spy app with a good reputation. It’s mainly used by parents who’re looking out for their children and employers keeping an eye on employees.
HelloSPY gives you full access to the target iPhone, but there’s a catch – you need to jailbreak the iPhone first. Jailbreaking, as we told you before, is a difficult process that can permanently damage the device’s software.
If you’re willing to take the risk and jailbreak the target iPhone, HelloSPY will give you access to the following features:
- Phone location tracking Access to phone contacts Message reader Auto answer App usage recorder Browser history
Setting up HelloSPY to hack iPhones
Here are the steps to follow to set up HelloSPY:
Step 1: Jailbreak the target iPhone. The process takes up to half an hour.
Step 2: Purchase a HelloSPY subscription. It costs $29.99 per month.
Step 3: Download the HelloSPY app from Cydia on the target device and follow the setup instructions.
Once HelloSPY is installed, you can control it remotely from any PC or phone browser.
HelloSPY has some drawbacks. You need an intermediate amount of technical knowledge to set it up. It offers a limited set of features – far fewer than what either Spyic or Cocospy offer. Also, you need to physically access the target device to set up HelloSPY.
Part 5: How to Hack an iPhone from Another iPhone
The final way to hack an iPhone with software is with iKeyMonitor. The app allows you to hack an iPhone from another iPhone; after the setup is completed, that is. You first need to set up iKeyMonitor on the target device. The target device needs to be jailbroken.
Unlike Spyic or Cocospy, you can’t set up iKeyMonitor remotely. You’ll have to briefly physically access the target device. If it’s not jailbroken, you will need to jailbreak it. Note that this voids the device’s warranty and makes it vulnerable to malware.
How to Hack Someone’s iPhone from Your Phone with iKeymonitor
Here are the steps to follow if you want to hack someone’s iPhone from another phone with iKeyMonitor:
Step 1: Go to the official iKeyMonitor website.
Step 2: Sign up for a monthly plan. They just offer one plan that costs $49.99 per month.
Step 3: Download the iKeyMonitor app and follow the setup instructions.
Once you set up iKeyMonitor, then you’ll be able to monitor the iPhone remotely from any other device that has internet access, including your smartphone.
Here are some of the features offered by iKeyMonitor:
- Screenshot capture Website visit history WhatsApp Clipboard GPS locations
Learn more about social app spy.
The iKeyMonitor app offers a competitive range of features, but it’s much more expensive than other spy apps on the market. You get the same features with Spyic for a much lower monthly price.
To Sum It Up
You can hack an iPhone remotely and conveniently with Spyic or Cocospy. Both these apps also have an in-built keylogger that can hack the iPhone’s passcode. The apps give you almost total access to the target iPhone, without the owner’s knowledge.
HelloSPY also works for iPhone hacking, but it needs to be set up manually and needs a jailbroken device. The same goes for iKeyMonitor. HelloSPY offers far fewer features than Spyic, while iKeyMonitor is almost twice as expensive.

Can An iPhone Be Hacked? Yes! Here’s The Fix!
As an iPhone user, you feel secure — but can an iPhone be hacked? The iPhone has a great reputation for being safe and keeping hackers away from your personal information. But, like anything that runs on software, it is still vulnerable to attacks.
In other words, yes, your iPhone can be hacked.
If finding out “yes” is the answer to “can an iPhone be hacked?” makes you a little worried, stop and take a deep, calming breath. In this article, we’ll help you learn how to be responsible iPhone users and help prevent hacks. We’ll also walk you through what to do if you think your iPhone has been hacked.
How Can An iPhone Be Hacked?
I’m glad you asked. Your iPhone, as we’ve discussed, has some seriously great built in security. Apple automatically encrypts your iPhone. Even they have to have the key (aka your passcode!) to access your information.
And those apps you love to download? Every one of them goes through a serious screening process. The odds of an App Store app really being a front for hackers is pretty slim, though we know that it can (and has) happened. So how can your iPhone be hacked?
Your iPhone can be hacked if you jailbreak it, open messages from people you don’t know, plug your iPhone into charging stations with malicious software, and other ways. The good news is that usually it can almost certainly be avoided using the steps we describe in this article.
Don’t Jailbreak Your iPhone
Let’s get this out of the way now — if you want your iPhone to be secure, don’t jailbreak your iPhone! Whew. There. I said it. I feel better now.
Jailbreaking an iPhone means you’ve used a program or piece of software to bypass the phone’s software and default settings. I do understand the appeal (especially if you’re tech-savvy!), because we’ve all wanted to delete a program that Apple makes us keep or thought about taking a deeper look into the files on our iPhones.
But doing that also bypasses a lot of the security rules that keep you and your information safe. A jailbroken iPhone can download apps from non-Apple app stores. You may just think you’re saving a few bucks, but what you’re really doing is opening yourself up to a lot of potential risks.
The truth is, there are very few reasons for the average iPhone user to ever consider jailbreaking their phones. Just don’t do it.
Delete Messages From People You Don’t Know
Some of the most common hacking attacks come from programs called malware. Malware is a kind of software that hackers can use to see what you do on your iPhone or even control it.
Because of Apple’s security rules, malware isn’t going to come from the App Store. But it may come from clicking links in your email or messages, or even just opening them.
It’s a good rule of thumb to only open messages and emails from people that you know. If you don’t know the person, or the message preview shows you a weird character or block-shaped icon, don’t open it. Just delete it.
If you have opened a message like that, don’t click on anything. A message may take you to a website and try to get you to download malware, or install automatically it as soon as you try to look at what you were sent – so be careful!
Be Careful On Public Wi-Fi Networks
You may think it’s convenient when a coffee shop, restaurant, library, or hotel offers free Wi-Fi. And I agree. Free Wi-Fi is awesome! Especially when you only have so many GB of data each month.
But public Wi-Fi networks can be exploited by hackers. So take care. Don’t login to your bank or other sensitive sites while you’re on public Wi-Fi. It’s ok to look up a movie time, for example, but I’d avoid paying a bill or buying anything until you’re on a more secure network.
Practice Safe Browsing
Websites are another possible place where you can accidentally pick up software that allows hackers to access your iPhone. If you can, only visit well-known websites. And avoid clicking on anything that pops up.
Yes, pop-up ads are an unfortunate part of life. But they can also be the sources of malware. If a pop up takes over your screen, look for a safe way to close the window without clicking “ok” or “continue” or anything like that.
One of my favorite tricks is to close Safari, double tap the home button to close the app entirely, and then re-open it. Then, I close the entire browser window where the pop up is, just in case one of those X’s on the screen is a secret command to download infectious software.
Avoid Public Chargers
In 2012, researchers from Georgia Tech created a piece of software that used a public charging port to download hacking software onto iPhones. The hack was done in the name of knowledge, and the team passed on their findings to Apple so that they could tighten up iPhone security, but the risk was still quite real.
It’s great that there are more public charging ports and cords available, everywhere from airports to music festivals. If you want to charge and stay safe, bring your own portable power source to stay charged. Or, if you have to use the public source, leave your iPhone locked while it’s plugged in.
With the iPhone locked, the researchers in Georgia couldn’t access the phone to install malicious software.
Being a security-savvy iPhone user will help keep you protected from iPhone hackers. But just in case something does happen, it helps to have a plan. That’s next.
I Think My iPhone Was Hacked! What Now?
There are a few tell-tale signs that might make you scratch your head and say, “ Can my iPhone be hacked?” Things to watch for include:
- New apps on your screen that you didn’t download
- Calls, texts or emails in your history that you didn’t send
- Your iPhone opening apps or words being typed when you aren’t touching it.
It can be pretty scary to see your iPhone acting that way! The first thing to do is take your iPhone offline.
Take Your iPhone Offline
To do that, you can simply turn off your iPhone for a little while or you can turn all your connections off by using Airplane Mode.
To turn off your iPhone, hold down the power button on the upper right-hand side of your phone. Slide your finger across the screen once you see the “slide to power off” message.
To put your iPhone in Airplane mode, go to Settings → Airplane Mode. Tap the switch to the right to turn this mode on.
Once your iPhone is disconnected from the network, it should cut off your hacker’s access to your iPhone. Now, it’s time to reset things so that the software the hacker is using.
Reset Settings
Hopefully, you’ve been backing up your iPhone regularly, because sometimes, wiping your iPhone is the only way to get a fresh rid of malware and get a fresh start. You can start by resetting your iPhone’s settings. To do that, go to Settings → General → Reset.
To get a clean, fresh start, choose Erase All Content and Settings. I wouldn’t normally suggest this, because that means you’ll either have to reinstall everything or pull from an iCloud or iTunes backup to get your device back to normal. But getting hacked is a big deal.
Try a DFU Restore
Finally, you can do the thing our fearless leader and former Genius Bar guru suggests – a Default Firmware Update (DFU) restore. This process uses iTunes to reset and restore your iPhone’s settings. To do this you’ll need your iPhone, a computer with iTunes installed, and a cable to plug your iPhone in.
Then, check out Payette Forward’s guide on How To Put An iPhone In DFU Mode, The Apple Way, for step-by-step instructions on how to get your iPhone back under control.
Can An iPhone Be Hacked? Yes. Can You Help Prevent It? Absolutely!
Hackers can hijack your iPhone without you knowing, and use your microphone, camera and keystrokes to track everything you do. Take the risk seriously and pay attention to the websites you visit, the links you click, and the networks you use. You can keep this from happening. You just have to be careful!
