Игровой процесс
Игра бросает вызов игроку, чтобы завершить гонки на трассах, расположенных по всему миру.
Чтобы продолжать прогрессировать и открывать новые трассы, требуются занимать первые три места. В автомобилях есть счетчик топлива, и сборы топлива необходимо регулярно собирать, чтобы остаться в гонке.
В конце гонки оставшееся топливо конвертируется в бонусные очки. Существуют также жетоны гонки в качестве пикапов для бонусных очков и нитро-пополнений. У машины не может быть постоянного повреждения.
Но значительно замедляется при столкновении с другими автомобилями сзади или с объектами в окружающей среде.
Управление
Контроль автомобилями осуществляется с помощью беспроводного контроллера или виртуальной панели в левом нижнем углу экрана для управления влево и вправо. На правой стороне есть виртуальная кнопка для ускорения.
Автомобиль будет слегка дрейфовать и автоматически поворачивать на поворотах с достаточной скоростью, отдельного контроля не требуется. Над кнопками слева есть ограниченное количество нитро для увеличения скорости.

Horizon Chase 2.1
Horizon Chase — новая мобильная аркада, которая выполнена в стиле классических гонок со старых консолей и ПК. Основная особенность игры заключается не в графике или эффектах, на которую делают ставку современные разработчики, а в динамичном геймплее и непередаваемой атмосфере. Несмотря на то, что в Horizon Chase используется угловатая графика, напоминающая 16-битный стиль, местный мир все равно выглядит очень красиво и даже живо. Особенно круто выглядят ночные города, которые дополняются приятным саундтреком.
Всего в Horizon Chase присутствует 32 города, в которых проводятся гонки на 78 различных трассах. Классический геймплей и ретро-графика разбавлены такими современными игровыми элементами, как апгрейд машин — свое авто можно сделать красивее и мощнее. К сожалению, в Horizon Chase нет мультиплеера и его ввод не планируется в будущем, но зато есть поддержка Bluetooth-геймпадов.
