HushSMS is a tool for Android smartphones that allows us to carry out security checks by means of penetration tests and bypassing our Samsung’s FRP

With this application, users can send short messages that usually only phone carriers can send. It’s a tool that can be very useful to carry out penetration tests to search for system weaknesses.

Check your service’s status and security

The menu of HushSMS is very simple as it comes along with just one panel on which we can access different options to send messages:

• Ordinary SMS of up to 160 characters.
• PING.
• WAP Push SI which indicates the service status. Up to 40 characters.
• WAP Push SL which indicates the service load. Up to 40 characters.
• MMS notification of up to 30 characters but doesn’t work on iPhone.

Many Samsung smartphone users also use it to disable their FRP (Factory Reset Protection), present on all Android 5.0 and newer devices, associating them to an email address. Nevertheless, it only works on smartphones with Android 6 or 7.

Работа утилиты основана на служебных командах между оператором и портативным гаджетом, которые предусмотрены для правильной передачи сети между девайсом и вышкой сотовой связи.

На официальном web-ресурсе этот софт позиционируется как бесплатное решение для тех, кому необходимо знать, включен или выключен чей-то телефон для отправки информации без ее сохранения.

Меню утилиты максимально простое и содержит только одну панель, которая открывает доступ к опциям для отправки сообщений:

• sms-сообщения (максимум 160 символов);
• PING;
• WAP Push SI (максимум 40 символов);
• WAP Push SL (максимум 40 символов);
• MMS-сообщения (максимум 30 символов), работает только на Android-устройствах.

Важный момент заключается в том, что используются протоколы только сети GSM, другими словами софт бесполезен в диапазоне CDMA. Также стоит отметить, что со стороны операторов существует ряд ограничений на отправку служебных сообщений с гаджета. К примеру, у абонентов провайдера AT&T такие действия полностью заблокированы.

Главная особенность утилиты — возможность проверить нахождение в зоне действия сети любого абонента. Сделать это можно посредством отправки служебного SMS, при этом абонент так и останется неосведомленным относительно подобных действий. Это очень полезная функция, особенно когда необходимо незаметно проверить доступность пользователей или узнать, используют ли они данный номер телефона.

Для корректной работы на некоторых версиях ОС Android требуется наличие специального модуля для Framework XPosed.

HushSMS is an application to send specific types of short messages.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND: If some functions are not displayed on your device it is not that I don’t want you to use this functions but it is because your device is not capable to send these messages. It is because an API method is missing in your ROM. There is nothing I can do about. Thanks

HushSMS will run on any android device form v2.1 up. However, is a specific API is missing only a limited set of message types are available. HTC devices with original ROM and Sense UI are known to be fully supported. If you have a custom ROM like CM or whatever and want to use all features of HushSMS please ask your ROM supplier to add the sendRawPdu function to SMSManager again.

This is my first Android Software, so there might still be some bugs. If you find any please report them to me so I can make the software even better.

— When selecting a contact with multiple mobile numbers only the first gets selected automatically
