TAKEphONE Lite will change the way you
use your phone to make calls:

— Always on T9 keypad: no more scrolling
through multiple pages to get to those
last alphabet contacts, or scrolling
to the top search field to start a
search.

— Big keypad buttons: no more efforts
to tap names using the relatively
small keyboard buttons.

— «Dial by photo» — instantly call your
favorite contacts by tapping their
photo from the main page.

— Instant redial — shows the last call you
made right on the front page for single-tap
redial.

«Search» tab:
— Large (and I mean LARGE) on-screen
buttons, always on screen at the start
(«Search») screen.

— Tap a phone number using those large
buttons to manually dial it or to add
it to an existing/new contact.

— Search for contact in a super fast &
sophisticated way — using a T9-like
mechanism (e.g. to search for «John»
simply tap the «JKL», «MNO», «GHI»,
«MNO» buttons).

— You can search fields, words within
fields, or even free text within words.

— Even more — you can use the «. and. »
button (tap the ‘*’ button) to combine
fields (e.g. enter «jo. and. do» to
search for «John Doe»).

— You can even speed-dial the first 10
favorite entries of TAKEphONE right
from the main screen by tapping &
holding the 0-9 on-screen button.

— NEW: you can show a «last call» line on
startup for fast redialing.

Description

Dialer now includes support for light & dark mode! With the pro upgrade, you can now dial A, B, C, D frequencies in the new redesigned pro dial pad.

Dialer works with any Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) Landline phone that accepts DTMF tones. Pressing a button generates a DTMF tone which tells the telephone system to dial that number. To dial, you hold your phone’s speaker up to a telephone handset or microphone and play the tone by pressing a button or by using quick dial.

Quick Dial allows you to store a calling card number or teleconference number for quick dialing on a landline, simply hold up your iPhone speaker to the landline telephone’s microphone or handset and press dial. Commas act as pauses during the dialing tone sequence to allow time for prompts and other delays.

**Please note that some Voice over IP (VOIP) systems can have trouble recognizing the tones, for those systems try a longer key press allowing enough time for the system to register the tone.

Description

Contacts is an address book app that was first included as part of the Phone app with the launch of the your iPhone. Contacts can be synchronised over iCloud and other online address book services and allows for the storage of names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, job titles, birthdays, and social media usernames.

This iPhone contacts app allows you to save phone numbers and contact information for the people you know. You can use saved contact information to quickly place a phone call, send an email, and more. The iPhone allows you to create as many contacts as you need so you’ll always have important contact information with you.

It includes various cloud synchronization capabilities and integrates with other Apple applications and features, including iMessage, FaceTime and the iCloud service (and previously its predecessor MobileMe).

You’ll use the Phone app to make and receive phone calls on your iPhone. The Phone app has several features to help you manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, as well as voicemail.

To call a contact:
Instead of dialling numbers manually, you can save phone numbers to your phone as contacts. We’ll talk more about contacts in our lesson on adding and managing contacts.

Favourites & speed dial:
If you frequently call the same contacts, you can add them to your Favourites list. You may find this more convenient than selecting a contact from your Contacts list. To add an existing contact as a favourite, open the Phone app, select Favorutes, then tap the + button. To call a favourite, simply tap the desired contact.

Search: You can quickly search all of your contacts by using the Search bar at the top of the contacts list. Just tap the Search bar and type. Any contacts matching your search will appear.
