# Bag It, Tag It, Slap a Sticker On It
Good day, friends! Today’s update is all about bringing a little more feature parity between 1Password for Mac and 1Password for iOS. Starting today you’ll be able to access (and empty) the trash as well as organize your items better using nested tags. We’ve also added a whole new collection of stickers to our sticker pack, just for fun.
## Trash
If you ever take the time to look back through the myriad release notes from 1Password updates of the past you’ll start to see a theme: us thanking you for your input and for helping us make 1Password better. This isn’t a throwaway line, it’s a guiding principle we use as we tackle new features, improvements, and bug fixes. The addition of trash in 1Password for iOS is the latest example of your feedback directly driving a change. Trash has been a feature that’s been baked into 1Password for quite some time. Up until recently, though, we haven’t distinguished between deleting an item and sending it to the trash. Starting today you can move items to the trash, bring them back, or get rid of them for good by emptying the trash.
Thank you to everyone who got in touch and let us know this feature was important to them. We really appreciate it.
## Tags
When 1Password 7 for Mac was released last year we added a cool upgrade to our tags feature: nested tags. We’ve now brought full support for nested tags to iOS. Nested tags allow you to up your organization: simply type a forward slash (/) when entering a tag to break it up into nested groups. Typing A/B/C will give you tag C inside B, and B inside A.
## Stickers
One of the great things about working at 1Password is getting to work alongside incredibly talented, creative folks every day. One of the great things about talented, creative folks is that they love to, well, create! When our design team came to the developers and said, “We’ve got a whole bunch of new stickers for our sticker app” we were more than happy to oblige. Fire up Messages and check out all the new characters. Invite your friends to play a game with the gamer emoji. Tell them you’re headed to the movies with the movie-goer emoji. Let them know you’re in the mood for ice cream with the double twisty cone emoji. Who says security can’t be fun?

We can’t think of anything better to beat the heat than a nice cold ice-cream in the sunshine … with extra sprinkles, of course. We’d like to think of your one-time passwords as the sprinkles that complete your Login items. Now 1Password automatically copies those one-time passwords when you fill an item with the 1Password Extension, saving you a step and a giving you more time to enjoy that ice cream. Yummy!

## You can never have too many baskets of goodies!
Everyone needs a safe place to store the pie so that no one gets into it before dessert. Now you can create new vaults in your 1Password.com account on the fly and off the cuff right within 1Password itself. No more storing the cherry pie with the cheese, or the cupcakes with the croissants. No matter what your organizational structure — creating new vaults on the go has never been so easy!

## You’ll always know how fresh your items are.
A great sandwich is a staple at every picnic, but a truly great sandwich is only as good as the ingredients. The same can be said for your security and an aging password is not a fresh part of your ecosystem. With this new update, you’ll always know how fresh your items are by checking the dates your items were created and edited are right there at the bottom of the item details.

When you have more than one vault, it can be really easy to forget where you’ve saved what, which can make it a bit complicated to find the item you’re looking for. Now, you can view and search all of your items in all of your vaults by using All Vaults. But what if the whole reason you created a separate vault was to keep its items out of your way? No problem! If you don’t want to include absolutely everything, go to Settings > Vaults > All Vaults and switch off the vaults you don’t want to include. And would you look at how pretty that new All Vaults icon is?! I feel like a unicorn just looking at it.

If only Spotlight could be wired into your house so you’d never lose your keys again.

Using an iPad and need to get to your vault quickly? Use Split View and Slide Over on supported devices to keep 1Password close at hand. We’re really excited to use this alongside our favorite apps on iPad Pro!
On an iPhone 6 Plus? Now you can take advantage of landscape mode. We wish our real-world home improvement projects ended with such flexibility.

== In your favorite apps ==
All of this remodeling hasn’t changed one of the best things about 1Password for iOS: the ability to log in to participating apps! We recently made big improvements to our extension. Now, it’s a breeze to fill in credit card information and addresses. If your favorite apps don’t offer 1Password support, let their developers know it only takes a few minutes to join the ranks of eBay and Dropbox in making your life more secure and a little easier.

== Apple Watch ==
For those of you using Apple Watch to help you reach your next cookout on time, a happy day has dawned — your credit card entries will now display PIN codes. We also improved the way Apple Watch displays text and sprayed a couple of pesky bugs trying to impede your fun in the sun.
== Touch/>It can be hard to use Touch ID when your fingers are covered in sunscreen. That’ll no longer be a problem when using the 1Password app extension, which will respect the lock timeouts you’ve set in the app. If you unlock 1Password using Touch ID, the main app will remember as long as you haven’t reached your lock timeout the next time you launch it.
Additionally, if you tap “Cancel” when you’re asked to provide your fingerprint to unlock your vault, you’ll have the option of bringing the Touch ID prompt back again. We call that a win!
== HTTP Warning ==
If you try to enter your username and password on an unsecured (HTTP) site when the URL you’ve saved is for a secure (HTTPS) site, 1Password will let you know. Extra security for extra peace of mind.

Our entire development team made the trip out to San Francisco last week for Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, where we had an incredible time learning about all of the great technologies coming to iOS. While we wait for iOS 9’s release, we thought we’d give you a small update with fixes for some bugs that you reported in 1Password 5.4.2. Thank you for visiting our support forums and letting us know how we can make 1Password better, we really appreciate the feedback.

The Big iOS 7 “Don’t Call it a Redesign” Update
This ain’t just a new paint job and an air freshener. We rebuilt 1Password for iOS 7 and the future, adding some of our best and most-requested features—all as a free update to existing version 4 owners.
Note: iOS apps don’t actually support air fresheners (yet?).
AirDrop — Share items more conveniently, face-to-face.
Our sharing menu is now a good iOS 7 citizen.
Multiple & Shared Vault support
If you create multiple vaults with 1Password on your Mac (Windows coming soon!), you can now add them to 1Password for iOS and switch between them in Settings. Great for securely sharing items with coworkers or family, or simply for your own organization!
Demo mode is now the demo vault — We have moved our popular demo mode feature to Settings > Vaults where you can add demo information as a secondary vault to show off 1Password to your friends without showing them all your personal information.
Multiple Dropbox accounts — Have more than one Dropbox account? Great! You can now sync vaults shared via different Dropbox accounts.
1Browser is better than ever
One AutoFill to rule them all — Logins, Identities, and Credit Cards are all under the same button in 1Browser, kinda like 1Password mini on Mac and PC!
Many improvements to the 1Password Browser on the iPad.
1Browser now prompts the user to allow it to open non-http and non-https URLs.
Swipe it to the left, swipe it to the right. *Ahem*, to go back and forward in 1Browser, that is.

Get Organized
The ‘Folders’ tab on iPhone has been renamed to ‘Organize’ beause.
Tags join the party — Any tags you add to items in 1Password on your Mac or Windows version now appear next to your folders on iOS! Tag on.
