В самом начале игры вам жизненно необходимо первым делом скрафить три основных предмета – это копье, топор и кирка. Как только впервые вы попадете в игре нужно обследовать ближайший разбитый автомобиль на наличие ценных предметов и в будущем обязательно обыскивать все заброшенные транспортные средства и прочие тайники, в них можно найти много всего интересного. Собирайте сосновые бревна и известняки, с которых вы создадите три основных предмета для выживания. Дальше вам следует хоть немного укрепить свою позицию, построить небольшой домик и обзавестись повседневным рюкзаком и воронкой для сбора воды, ведь без нее вы долго не протянете. Обработайте свою первую грядку, на которой можно вырастить хоть какие-то продукты, которые помогут выживать первое время. Не забывайте и о безопасности, а для ее поддержания установите возле входных дверей взрывчатку C-4, она сможет уберечь вас от незваных зомби.

Когда вы хоть немного разберетесь с первыми азами игры, вам обязательно нужно посетить три места среди которых будет бункер Альфа (будет доступен после того как вы возьмете карту в трупа), разбитый самолет и армейские поставки солдат. На этих локациях можно найти много необходимых предметов для выживания, а так же для будущих рецептов крафта. Даже не думайте выбрасывать радиодетали ведь в будущем с них можно создать радио и много других электроинструментов. После того как вы раздобудете радио, на карте можно будет заместить торговца, а уже в него по мере возможности берите на обмен доски, гвозди, кожу и железо (за 20 каждого из этих предметов торговец порадует вас весьма ценными призами).

Не бойтесь нападения орды, ведь максимум, что она сможет сделать это сломать несколько стен вашего укрытия. А если вы вообще хотите минимизировать урон от ее нападения, тогда вам нужно примерно за полчаса до атаки выйти с игры и зайти обратно уже после ее, где-то в районе 10-15 мин после ее окончания. Так у вас будет разрушена всего одна невинная стена. По словам опытных игроков, чаще всего самолеты и ящики с предметами начинают появляться, когда ваша энергия находится на уровне 40-50%. И самый главный совет для начинающих сталкеров, чтобы быстро прокачивать героя нужно много сражаться с большим количеством враждебных обитателей игрового мира, за что вы будете хорошо вознаграждены опытом, ведь за крафт, и прочую ерунду вы будете получать на много меньше игрового опыта.
