Logitech Options fix for Apple M1 Silicon Macs
The last update to Logi Options for my Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse and Ergo K860 Keyboard was December of 2019. Neither work well with Apple M1 Mac mini and macOS Big Sur. Is anything in the pipeline to make customers like me happy again? Please create a ticket and get back to me (us). Thank you. Curt in WA March 2021

Same here.
Incredibile a big company like Logitech haven’t a roadmap (or not tell us) for Universal App
Just following up on this issue that you were facing earlier. We hope this was resolved. If this is not resolved please let us know so that we can help you further.

Really!? Two months after specifically asking if Logitech had any fix for our MX3 Mouse or ERGO KX860 keyboards with the Mac M1 and Big Sur, your first reply is «we hope this was resolved»? What kind of Support Teams this? The answer is «YES» I resolved it by purchasing an APPLE Magic Mouse. Burned all my Logitech peripherals. Sheesh.
At Logitech customer satisfaction is our first priority but we are really so sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Can you please tell me when the version with native support for Apple M1 will be released?
Is it under development or not?
Can we wait for a solution to this problem in the near future, or can we refuse your products and go to competitors?
You tell ‘em, Yuri. Boilerplate responses with zero follow-up has become the LOGI standard.
Please be informed that we are working on the update. However, you can use Logitech Options in Rosetta. Here’s the link to know more: https://support.apple.com/HT211861
I cannot understand what is the reason for such a delay? More than half a year has passed since the release of the Apple m1 chip.
Viewing Activity Monitor, Logitech Options is the only «Intel» process (running under Rossetta2 emulation); all others are «Apple» meaning Apple Silicon. One by one I’ve watched the number of Intel processes drop on my M1 mac as vendor release updates. Alas, the last hold out is Logitech. Logitech ended up dead last. Why so slow to update Options? What is so complicated in the Options software that it takes this long to port to Apple Silicon?
I’ve been a long-time Logi and Apple customer, I have over a dozen Logi stuff around my 3 desk office. I am running out of patience, and to be frank, astonished by Logi’s decision not to be among the first to support their gears on the new Apple M1. Would not have guessed Logitech would be this passive-aggressive against Apple.
I am buying my first Microsoft mouse, while I’m not actively retiring all my Logitech stuff (after all I run Windows and Linux too), but we will see how long will it take to replace all my dozen Logitech gears on my desk.

Question: Q: MacBook Air M1 Logitech MX Master 3 pointer stutter
I have a MacBook Air M1 and I bought a Logitech MX Master 3. I use it via bluetooth and I’ve noticed some random stutters in the pointer.
Today, I noticed that I can consistently make the pointer stutter when I close “system preferences”. There’s a link below of me getting the pointer to stutter.
Can anyone with the same mouse try to replicate that? It’s driving me insane.

Same, I have a MacBook Air M1, and logitech MX Master 3. Same stutter on bluetooth. With the dongle is working ok, but on bluetooth stutters. Also with the logitech options software, the costumizable buttons work only when they want to. Also have a Logitech K380 bluetooth keyboard, same thing with the costumizable buttons, work only when they want to. On Big Sur 11.3. Still same problem.

It is not mouse problem (have Mac version) it is BigSur problem. Mouse pointer work just fine after reboot and later on after day or two it start lagging more and more in time. Before Logitech MX Master 3 (for Mac) I have had Steel Series V500 mouse with same problem with BigSur and a bit worse in couple of days mouse stops working completely after lags. Disconnect and reconnect to USB mouse helps with mouse returns but still with lags. Only rebooting helps with pointer lags/madness. Thought it is mouse problem but was wrong, same with Logitech. So for sure it is not mouse problem, but global non Apple mouses.
And a bit more, I used Logitech MX Master (for Mac) in two ways of work with same laggy result, connected through Bluetooth and now connected through unifying receiver as I use Logitech MX Keys Keyboard and my iMac with T2 chip which prevents Bluetooth from work until you enter login password with FileVault enabled.

I have the exact same problem, too. I can also replicate it with closing the settings and with any 3rd party bt mouse.

Have a Mac Mini M1 and the MX Master 3 for Mac mouse, connected via bluetooth.
All works OK when turning the mini on. But after it fell asleep, the mouse is jumpy / laggy and I have to reboot the mini to fix the problem. Very annoying!

I have a mac mini M1, and the same problem with my Mx master 3 mac. I contacted Logitech, they replaced the mouse, which did’nt solve the problem.
Also, Apple think it’s a compatibility issue. So terrible for a 110€ mouse.

I have the same problem here. I already called to apple support, but they said it’s a compatible problem. I’m very disappointed! Even with the mx master 3 connected without the Logi Options software installed the stutters happen

So is Apple going to fix this?

Same problem here. I have another problem that is when i click the side buttons fast to change desktops or windows (i use for mission control), both side buttons stop working for some minutes, very anoying. I have to restart the system to get everything to work properly.

I have started to use the mouse with the dongle plug on my Mac mini and it works way better. I have noticed lag some time, but it’s more generally smooth as expected;

My original MX Master seems to be working ok for a while on my MacBook Air M1, but suddenly some of the buttons will not trigger the assigned functions on the Logi Options software. This seems to happen when I am running a RAM intensive application like Lightroom. When I use Lightroom I don’t run any other intensive apps as I only have 8GB. It works perfectly on my 2014 MacBook Pro, so it’s not the mouse. I’ve uninstalled the software and installed it again several times, tried with bluetooth and the unifying receiver and the behavior is the same. It seems that Logitech has not updated their software to be compatible with Apple Silicone.

Same for me on m1 macbook pro with mx master 3 and mx anywhere 3.
The only way to use this devices — unifying dongle.
Bluetooth mode lags and not usable sometimes.
System logs in console app with filter by «bluetooth» keyword shows sharingd and bluetoothd activity every 10 second. Mouse cursor lags exactly the same time, when this log is written.
Logitech support said, that it’s not the mouse problem but apple’s hardware or software. And i think they are right, cus both mx master and mx anywhere work on windows pc without any issues, on bluetooth connection.
