Apple announced macOS Monterey today at the opening keynote of WWDC 2021. This year’s update to the Mac operating system brought enhancements to cross-device continuity features, a new Safari, Shortcuts, and more. It also comes with new wallpapers, and you can download them here.

There’s only one new wallpaper included in the first beta of macOS Monterey, which comes in both light and dark versions. The images show an abstract illustration of Monterey, California, similar to what Apple did last year with the default wallpaper for macOS Big Sur.

You can download the new macOS Monterey wallpapers in their full resolution below. Be sure to click the (i) button and save the full resolution wallpaper — and then set it via the Photos app or Settings app if you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

As always, it’s possible that Apple will add new wallpapers again later this fall with the official macOS Monterey release, which is currently available as a beta for developers. Don’t forget to also download new iOS 15 wallpapers.

macOS Monterey Alternate Wallpapers in Light and Dark mode

During WWDC21 on June 7, Apple announced updates to all hardware system software, and Apple also gave MacOS Monterey a screen time at the event. There they introduced some new features to macOS. But it took more than a decade for the name to change from the previous version, OS X, to macOS 11. But it’s still a question of why it changed quickly from macOS 11 to macOS 12 (from macOS Big Sur to macOS Monterey). You may remember, we gave macOS Monterey Official Wallpapers to our fans in a previous article. Где скачать обои из iOS 15 и macOS Monterey

В новых версиях iOS Apple всегда добавляет новые обои. 7 июня вышла первая бета-версия iOS 15 (вот, как ее установить), которая тоже не стала исключением из правил — Apple добавила пак новых обоев, которые выглядят очень здорово. И поскольку не все решились на установку iOS 15 beta (и мы их прекрасно понимаем, ведь многие авторы тоже не стали этого делать), обои доступны не всем. А ведь обоев много не бывает, особенно, когда они от Apple! Поэтому мы раздобыли обои из iOS 15, и теперь любой (даже если его устройство не поддерживает обновление) может загрузить их на свой iPhone или iPad.

Новых обоев мало, но они вам понравятся

Интересно, что в iOS 13 и в iOS 14 было сразу несколько новых обоев после выхода первой беты, а вот в бета-версии iOS 15 есть только парочка новых изображений экрана. Как и все официальные обои для iOS, новые обои для iOS 15 доступны в светлом и темном исполнении.

Новые обои выполнены в нейтральных тонах и напоминают некую абстрактную картину с эффектом размытия. Светлая версия имеет серый фон, а темная больше похожа на темно-синий, а не на черный.
