Max and the Magic Marker (1.0.11)

Нарисуйте камень, с которого можно прыгнуть на качели и катапультироваться в воздух, или доски, по которым можно будет пройти над ямой или что-нибудь тяжёлое, что упадёт и придавить вашего врага.

История разворачивается вокруг мальчика Макса (неожиданно!), у которого есть магический маркер (ещё более неожиданно!). Он рисует что-либо – оно оживает и становится злым, после этого ему приходится защищать себя всё новыми и новыми рисунками. В этом месте напрашивается фраза «и тут он проснулся в холодном поту и понял, что это был лишь сон». Тем не менее, игра достаточно весёлая.

Геймплей интересный, это сайдскроллинговый платформер, но игра привносит в этот жанр совершенно новые детали и, в результате, получилась очень необычной. Интересная вещь: когда вы нажимаете на паузу (останавливается время, а не игра), графика превращается в рисунок первоклассника. Отличная находка, сделано весьма необычно. К сожалению, управление в игре не очень удобно для тех, кто привык нажимать на кнопки как можно ближе к краям экрана (чтобы видеть как можно большую площадь игрового пространства) – они будут промахиваться по кнопкам, хотя кнопки вроде бы и не должны позволять это делать.

Всего в игре 15 уровней, 3 разных мира (обычный/дом, пиратский/джунгли и космос/техно), каждый из которых выглядит по-своему. Сложность игры от уровня к уровню возрастает.
