Disappointed

I tried to order some apple products this past Black Friday weekend with no resolve. I tried to pay for the items in my cart using Apple Pay which has my debit card, two different credit cards, and my one-week-old Apple Card. All cards have a close to zero or zero balance and work for reoccurring monthly payments as well as recent purchases at my regular grocery shopping. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with over four different phone calls with three additional apple employees. I figured there were issues with Apple being overloaded with Black Friday/Cyber Monday orders on Saturday, so I tried Sunday and again on Monday. I tried all my Apple Pay payment options and always got “Payment Not Processed.” I made sure my iOS and Apple store app were up to date. I deleted and reinstalled the Apple Store app. I restarted my phone—all of which the Apple employees had me do again over my phone calls with them. So Thursday and Friday, the apple store didn’t work. I invested in the Apple ecosystem to not deal with tech issues. I invested three extra hours in helping Apple become aware of its problems and get more orders. I missed out on the $25 Black Friday gift card, and this issue still isn’t resolved within this version of the Apple Store app and my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I wish someone would help me as much as I have helped apple become of this issue.

Don’t recommend

So on October 12 I ordered AirPods through the apple online store expecting really good service well NO I ordered them on October 12 and it said they would arrive around oct 20-22 well It took longer than that and I was like ahh it’s probably just late days pass and pass so it’s nov first and I had to do some so I contacted customer service through service wanted to save time and was attended really well but I told him my order was taking longer than what it was originally supposed to be I wasn’t trying to make a big deal he said yea my package got lost and he would REPLACE it for a new pair. I check my order status and it says I have to return air pods in order to get a replacement but wait I never even got my AirPods so I was tired of it and callled customer service and this guy was very RUDE about and said he couldn’t find my billing order so I was really frustrated about that. Later that day I called again because this wasn’t okay anymore so I called and this really nice lady helped me out and omg my billing number was there so she helped me out and today I received my stuff but don’t recommend it’s too much of a problem for a simple object not worth it don’t purchase from here just go to the store. Some guy from customer service was sooo rude l

Interface, interface

As far as working as a 2fac this app is fine, it does that. The issue with it is that it’s a really simple app but has an annoying interface. If the buttons for the push notification could be moved to a more thumb friendly location that would be great. It’s just a screen with 2 buttons, there’s no reason to make me adjust my grip on the phone so I can reach the accept button. I should be able to pick the phone up and hit the button in one motion. Not pick the phone up fumble with the position in my hand then hit the button. It’s annoying and unnecessary. The whole screen is there to use for this purpose and is empty. The buttons are large but the phone screen is also large and it puts the buttons out of comfortable reach for one hand use. Stack them in the middle or something. Maybe a flick gesture, or both, I dunno.

Endless Cycle of frustration

The Duo Mobile app is realistically one of the largest stressors I have experienced in my life. Upon getting a new phone I was unable to access any of my school work/grades/tax information for months. If you need to get a new device it requires that you verify the new device with your old device, but for many people when a new device is purchased they no longer have access to their old device. Their “help” support staff is among one of the worst of its kind (which is saying something). It took me approximately 6 hours to recover my accounts.

Moving on to normally logging in the process is arduous and frankly broken. I have no way to remove my old phone number as the primary verification. There is a “click to accept” box to remain logged in for 24 hours on the login page, although you must be verified to click the box, and upon verification you are immediately redirected away from the page. The system is inherently broken. Yes calling may be faster than scrolling through all your texts looking for old verification codes, but I should NOT have to receive a phone call or spend minutes searching my texts simply to do economics homework.

If you are an administrator considering using this app, please find some other service. Using duo mobile will cause your employees/students immense stress and disdain against your organization.

Got a new phone, now I can’t log onto my university account

This is the worst app I’ve ever used. Absolutely unnecessary and difficult. I’ve put up with it until now, but I can no longer sit silent. I recently got a new phone and in oder to reconnect duo to my university I need to log into my university account. But in order to log into my university account I need to verify it through duo. So obviously through this very dumb circle I can no longer log into my university account on my phone. Duo does offer verification though my old phone, but guess what? I no longer have that phone so it is absolutely impossible for me to verify my account through my old phone. I sincerely hope my university stops using this app as this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. All I want to do is be able to check my grades on my phone and I’ll never be able to do that. And soon my 120 day access will run out on my labtop and I will no longer be able to access my school account which contains my grades, classroom, assignments, and more as I cannot verify my university account through duo. Making it virtually impossible to have access to my school account all because I got a new phone. This is the WORST app and experience I’ve ever had.

Please someone look at the logo and tell me it is not psychedelic logo lol.
But if being serious, I really don’t think it corresponds to the company’s brand and now it is a big eye sore on my screen compared to old logo.
Other than that, the app it useful for someone who has a small business and doesn’t want to spend time scheduling meetings with the clients. This app could use a bit more functionality but I guess it depends on the user and his/her business.

Love the service, need more event color selections

Letting clients schedule online has been amazing for my business us so I’ll give it 5 stars.

Months ago we had more event color options and many users requested more customizable colors. One day out of the blue it changed without warning and multiple events were the same color or colors we would never choose and to make it worse THERE WERE FEWER COLORS.

Many users post constantly that we want this changed to more options and it still has not been updated. This is my only complaint.

My recommendation for additions would be if we could have certain team members emailed when someone schedules. For example if a meeting is scheduled with me, I would like the alert email to go to both myself and my assistant. If we have a team, then I would like it to go to certain team members and my assistant. Currently it just goes to whomever the meeting is scheduled with. If the feature is available, I have not found it yet.

Most importantly, the Calendly team has a great product that positions your business as an up to date business by giving clients control and eliminating playing phone tag or emailing multiple dates and hoping it works. I’ve used Timetrade edits this and it just does not compare.

I love what you do and where you’re going, but please. More event colors! 😎👍🏼

My most used app!

I use Calendly to schedule my client meetings and it works perfectly! I travel a ton and I’m always in different time zones, so I can avoid so many back and forth emails when trying to set up meetings by just sending them my Calendly link!

I’ve loved using the website, but having the app just made me love it more! I’ve only had the app for a month and it’s definitely my most used app on my phone. I have about 5-6 meetings a day and usually have back to back meetings, so it’s super helpful to be able to pull up this information easily on the app now without having to pull out my computer. I also love that the app automatically shows your upcoming meetings in your local time zone, so I don’t have to try and figure out the time zones that I’m in vs the time zones that my clients are in.

I can’t believe that it’s free too! I get so much value from Calendly!
