David was amazing!! 5 stars for David!! He had the patience of a saint. I was there for 1.5 hours and we were repeatedly interrupted by his coworker due to her (Talliay??) inability to help the individuals she was helping. It was quite annoying for me, however; out of respect for David and my character, I allowed David to help her. My visit would have been much shorter had she had adequate training. Her badge actually said she was an «expert.» My husband also deserves kudos. he waited in the car for 1.5 hours.
Please help David and all customers who visit your store by adequately training your employees. This is my first experience with T Mobil, very impressed with David, appalled at your training process. She needs to be trained appropriately before you allow her to work without a shadow or preceptor.
David received 1 million gold stars and should get a raise..promotion. he did the work of two people with grace, amazing professionalism, and more patience than I have ever seen anyone exhibit.. Thank you..
T Stands For Terrible
Had a 24 month agreement with T-mobile. It was a nightmare! Beginning with them losing my 4 trade ins, sending them to two different states. I had to prove that they existed and it took them a week or so to track them down. My family had numerous issues with their devices and I several business calls and texts dropped lost or just never came through to me. I got tired of calling their customer service for issues because, for one, most of them are foreigners and I couldn’t understand them and they had a hard time understanding my issues, so the language barrier is a huge negative. Finally, when my 24 month sentence was served they tried to charge me an extra 3 months for my devices, when I called them on it, they agreed with me, confirmed I was correct, and told me they corrected the issue. I paid my final bill and went back to Verizon where I receive superb service and reception. Two weeks later I get a bill from T-Mobile saying I owe another month on my devices. Needless to say my final phone call to them wasn’t pleasant, nor did they bother to correct the issue. Again some foreign rep had an issue understanding my explanation. I was on the phone for 41 minutes and the last 15 I was on hold, so I hung up. T-Mobile is the worst carrier I’ve experienced and I’ve had Sprint as well. I put this out there so I can save someone the misery my family and I went through. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO T-MOBILE.
Called Stupid
I was concerned about how much my Bill was so I called Custumer support to receive help with that. The agent was a bit difficult to understand so I asked to speak with a manager. She was speaking to fast while giving me details about the lines on my service. I asked her to slow down and to walk me through the details of each line individually. I was polite through the process till I asked her to repeat what she had said and a second voice spoke and asked “Are you F*ing Stupid.” I ignored it and said “Anyways how much am I paying for the Third lines device. Later I asked to remove insurance on my Device to lower the bill at least a small amount. Clearly. Because I am needing my bill lowered. And the manager I was speaking to whispered to the other person “he is Dumb”. At that point I was annoyed and just hung up not wanting to be mean back. Few minutes later I received a call from a blocked number. Same woman. I was cooled off by then and she sounded worry. I just said I didn’t need anymore help and if I needed help with anything else I would call back. That was that. Also this app Is not user friendly. I should have much more access to my information and manage my account without so many difficulties because of poor care to their clients and lack of updates to their website and mobile app.

Wish drivers were as good as the app
The app is absolutely amazing and does everything it says it will do. I don’t pay any mine or have any kind of premium svc and it does what it is supposed to do for me which is watch for pkgs with my address on them and track them for me and notify my of any changes and when it is delivered. It does that for free and the app is free also. It even tracks my roommates packages (since we have the same address). Love this app.
I would give the app 5 stars but I’m taking 1 star away due to the drivers. The drivers refused to deliver my packages to my door because I live in an apt complex and so it was easier/faster for them to deliver to the apt office. I should be treated like any homeowner and have my packages delivered to my door (even when I am not home). They only started coming to my door when my apt office changed their policy and said they no longer take packages at all.
They also do not knock on the door or ring the doorbell. I am disabled and home 24/7 with the exception of a doctor appt here and there. The only way I know a pkg has arrived is the WONDERFUL APP. Without the app I would just have to get up and check my front door constantly. It is ridiculous that they can’t knock on the door or ring the doorbell as they put the pkg down on the ground in front of my door.
I’ve been using this app for about 4 years now and it’s been a life saver for me. I do a lot of online shopping and I live in an apartment complex that the building is locked. So you need a key to get into just to be able to get to my front door. Not all drivers have a building key and if the driver can’t get to my door they don’t leave my package at the main door so then I used to get a sticker saying they were here but unable to deliver my package and will try again. Then they’d never get to my door. BUT now with the app I’m able to change my delivery options to pickup. GAME CHANGER. I just get the notification that my package is coming then it takes me 20 seconds to go in and change it from a delivery to a pick up. You can choose what UPS drop off point you’d like to pick it up from. I’m lucky and only live about 5 mins from our local UPS so I always just pick up from there. Now I am able to pick up my packages when they open at 11am instead of waiting until about 3 for it to be dropped off. What can I say I’m inpatient and am always super excited for whatever it is I ordered (which is usually makeup and am obsessed with). I’ve been very lucky and have never had 1 single problem with the UPS app. And honestly if I did it really wouldn’t matter. I view it as an amazing tool that is being given to me and is not mandatory for UPS to provide. I’m thankful and lucky I’ve never had a problem but if I did I’d still try using it.
UPS OVERALL EXPERIENCE
I’ve had maybe 3-4 drivers get backed up and falsely state they attempted delivery. I’ve also had Supervisors tell me they’ll get my package (medical) turned around and brought right back to me or they have said we’ll call you back within an hr. Some have some haven’t. So it’s the few drivers who log in false information that mess up for the good drivers and I realized UPS stands by the words of the drivers & with that being the case there are drivers who don’t feel like finishes the routes for whatever reason and they get away with this behavior. Outside of those short few, UPS is very reliable. We work from home and children are home schooled so in an effort to make sure we have evidence of deliveries or NO deliveries, we have 24/7 security cameras all around our house now. I do love the fact that you can track the package & 95% of the time it is accurate but there have been the 5% that showed package 3 blocks over we’ll get excited knowing we’re next & then get a text sorry we missed you. So i’ll remain loyal to UPS I just hope they install body cameras/side truck cameras to actually see the drivers on location that’ll cut out those few bad apples logging in false delivery attempts. Interface, interface
As far as working as a 2fac this app is fine, it does that. The issue with it is that it’s a really simple app but has an annoying interface. If the buttons for the push notification could be moved to a more thumb friendly location that would be great. It’s just a screen with 2 buttons, there’s no reason to make me adjust my grip on the phone so I can reach the accept button. I should be able to pick the phone up and hit the button in one motion. Not pick the phone up fumble with the position in my hand then hit the button. It’s annoying and unnecessary. The whole screen is there to use for this purpose and is empty. The buttons are large but the phone screen is also large and it puts the buttons out of comfortable reach for one hand use. Stack them in the middle or something. Maybe a flick gesture, or both, I dunno.

Endless Cycle of frustration
The Duo Mobile app is realistically one of the largest stressors I have experienced in my life. Upon getting a new phone I was unable to access any of my school work/grades/tax information for months. If you need to get a new device it requires that you verify the new device with your old device, but for many people when a new device is purchased they no longer have access to their old device. Their “help” support staff is among one of the worst of its kind (which is saying something). It took me approximately 6 hours to recover my accounts.
Moving on to normally logging in the process is arduous and frankly broken. I have no way to remove my old phone number as the primary verification. There is a “click to accept” box to remain logged in for 24 hours on the login page, although you must be verified to click the box, and upon verification you are immediately redirected away from the page. The system is inherently broken. Yes calling may be faster than scrolling through all your texts looking for old verification codes, but I should NOT have to receive a phone call or spend minutes searching my texts simply to do economics homework.
If you are an administrator considering using this app, please find some other service. Using duo mobile will cause your employees/students immense stress and disdain against your organization.
Got a new phone, now I can’t log onto my university account
This is the worst app I’ve ever used. Absolutely unnecessary and difficult. I’ve put up with it until now, but I can no longer sit silent. I recently got a new phone and in oder to reconnect duo to my university I need to log into my university account. But in order to log into my university account I need to verify it through duo. So obviously through this very dumb circle I can no longer log into my university account on my phone. Duo does offer verification though my old phone, but guess what? I no longer have that phone so it is absolutely impossible for me to verify my account through my old phone. I sincerely hope my university stops using this app as this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. All I want to do is be able to check my grades on my phone and I’ll never be able to do that. And soon my 120 day access will run out on my labtop and I will no longer be able to access my school account which contains my grades, classroom, assignments, and more as I cannot verify my university account through duo. Making it virtually impossible to have access to my school account all because I got a new phone. This is the WORST app and experience I’ve ever had.

Please contact your IT help desk, or if you aren’t sure of the number, check with a professor as they can point you in the right direction. Your help desk will be able to unlock your accounts for you so you can resume your schoolwork.
