I have iPhone 11 it was disabled due to forgotten password. I checked the iCloud status everything is clean, FMI it’s off. The iphone was working just fine before attempting the restoration. I downloaded iOS 14.7.1 which is the latest iOS and attempted to restore using 3utool ..during the restoration it would fail at 40% of writing a filesystem at error -1100 couple of times .. I did research online based on this issue .. I couldn’t not find any solution. I used iTunes too to attempt to restore with it ..it also fails at -1100 .. what could be the problem and has anyone ever had the same issue and get it fixed ?
What is surprising me is that the iphone was working just fine before restoring it just started to have some issues when attempting to restore it ..now it is stuck on DFU mode.
Any anyone who can help or advice me on what to do please.

I’ve tried to check the updates on my MacBook Pro and the error message » An error message has occurred. The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1100.)». Are there anyone find the same problem and the solution to fix this error?

Try adding the DNS Servers: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
Open System Preferences > Network > (Select your means of connecting to the network) > Advanced > DNS

There are many people suffering from this problem right now. It’s probably a server issue. Just wait and try checking for updates again tomorrow.

Changing DNS servers will not help. I’m having the same problem, and my logs don’t show any indication of DNS lookup errors. My logs show a 503 error, which is a Service Unavailable error. See:

Thanks for your kind advise Thomas. I did try again several times today but it still didn’t work. I’ll try to check it again from time to time. 🙂

To change my DNS did not be able to solve my problem but thank you for your advice Yuengdog1983.

Same issue here. Had it last night and it continues today on multiple machines.

Most likely, the reason why changing DNS servers is helping some is that it may fool Apple software update to look for available updates on a different Apple server than the one that is normally used for your region.
I’ve had the same problem here in Sweden on multiple machines. When connecting normally through my internet connection I consistently get the same error but when connecting through my VPN (which gives me an IP in the UK) all updates are found, downloaded and installed without hitches. I suspect issues with the regional Apple update servers in certain parts of the world.

I have the same problem too in my MacBook Pro w/Retina Display running Mountain Lion.

I’m getting the same error. Adding those DNS servers didn’t fix the problem. Also, in iTunes, when I select the «Check for Updates. » option on the iTunes menu, the reply is that «10.6.3» is the current version. Is there really a 10.7, or is it just a myth?

I have the same result as Richard Leiter.

solved just installing iTunes 10.7
Sep 13, 2012 9:50 AM
Of course there’s an iTunes 10.7, you can find it here:
Of course, I’m not getting what all the fuss is about at the moment. iOS 6 isn’t out until next week, the new iPhone isn’t shipping yet and iTunes 10.7 is not the new version of iTunes mentioned yesterday. That’s iTunes 11, which also is not available yet. So there’s absolutely no reason for everyone to be trying to download it ASAP.

Like the No-Panik attitude. I was expecting a few hiccups with Software Update in the new 10.8
Sep 13, 2012 11:04 AM
I found that the NSURLErrorDomain Error -1100 is gone. Apple had probably fixed the issues.

Question: Q: Error 1110
My iPhone 12 pro max is now stuck in an endless Apple loop. I tried a hard reboot. That didn’t work. Then I tried to update it in restore mode. In the end I got an error 1110. I have no idea what that means, I can’t find that error code anywhere. I tried updating using a Mac Book Pro. Any one can help?

The problem is that your device does not have enough space to install a system update during the restart. The solution is free up some space on your device, but it is not possible cause it cannot turn on. AFAIK, there is not a way to free up space using the recovery mode.
I am having the same issue right now. It looks like apple devices are not ready for this scenario. I am running out of space cause it is a nightmare transfer my media files to my pc. Now I have more than +200 gb of media that must be deleted during the restoration process to make my phone work, or I will not be able to use my phone until apple fixes this issue (if they do it someday). This situation is frustrating, I even bought a couple of repair tools that promise to fix the system but they did not work either.

Hi there Error1110,
We understand that when attempting to update your iPhone, you’re encountering an error message.
We’d like to have you work through the steps in the following article, based on the verbiage of the error you’re seeing. Even if the error number is not shown, there may be more in the message that can point you in the right direction. For example, some times an error can have a number but say, «an unknown error occurred [error number],”.
Let us know if you have any questions.

I have the same error with iPhone SE. I don’t want to lose data on the device. Apple, please help.
Nov 3, 2021 3:33 AM
This happened to my SE2 with nearly full storage as well. I was using the Twitter app when suddenly the app crashed. iOS home screen was still working but I could not start any other apps. I restarted but got in the dreaded boot loop.
If you Google for «itunes error 1110», then most reports are from the last few weeks, which suggests that this error/regression was introduced recently. Hopefully Apple will produce a fix when enough people report it. It’s really crap when your phone gets bricked because of full storage.
Nov 3, 2021 3:30 PM
It does not work, the reason is that the storage is almost full, Do you know if there is a solution already or will we have to restore and lost our data. Of course, this is exactly what we want not to do. There must be a way to free up space from the iPhone in recovery mode.

Did anybody find the solution? Iphone 11 crashed today 😢
Nov 7, 2021 11:15 AM
Did anyone succeed to get his data after error 1110 or I have to restore the phone and loose all my data ?!
and did the iPhone worked after the restore ? Or it’s a hardware problem and still the iPhone will not work ?
please advise as I am without my phone 11 pro max for more than 2 weeks now

Apple has zero documentation on this error code! (issue: iTunes displaying «Error 1110» when trying to restore phone.) Even the various discussion groups have no workaround. Please help Apple. Phone is bricked (more specifically, stuck in reboot loop).
Nov 9, 2021 8:49 AM
problem, phone will not even turn on. Apple please reply and find solution.
Nov 9, 2021 12:36 PM
There is no solution. I bought three different tools, and no one could fix it. I even got reimbursement from them. I had to factory restore my iPhone and lost all my data. I am pretty sure that I will not buy an iPhone anymore.

Yes me too , lost all my baby’s photos and videos

- В случае, если в процессе джейлбрейка в окне программы TaiG появляется сообщение: «Apple driver hasn’t been found», то установите iTunesDriver64_0205.exe for Windowsздесь.
1. Подключите мобильное устройство к компьютеру и запустите TaiG с правами администратора (нажмите на файл правой кнопкой мыши — Свойства -> Сведения -> Выполнять в режиме Администратора);
2. Когда iPhone или iPad будет распознан утилитой, снимите второй флажок как на скриншоте ниже, чтобы не устанавливать магазин пиратских приложений 3K Assistant, и кликните кнопку в центре окна;
3. Дождитесь пока процесс будет завершен, не отключайте устройство от компьютера;
4. Улыбающийся смайлик известит об успешном окончании процедуры джейлбрейка, нажмите кнопку в центре окна;
5. Запустите Cydia на мобильном устройстве и подождите завершения загрузки требуемых компонентов;
6. Установите все обновления;
7. Джейлбрейк iOS 8.3 завершен, смело переходите в наш раздел с твиками из Cydia и прокачивайте свои iOS-устройства.
