10 подкастов для изучения/продолжения изучения английского языка

Шесть месяцев назад, я сделала для себя очень приятное открытие — подкасты на английском языке для изучающих английский язык. На тот момент у меня были проблемы с аудированием и открытие подкастов очень помогло мне развить аудирование до уровня понимания фильмов и аудиокниг без каких-либо субтитров.

Подкасты – это звуковые аудиофайлы в стиле радиопередач в интернете Как правило, подкасты имеют определенную тематику и периодичность издания. Каждый человек, у которого есть смартфон, может прослушивать подкасты. Для прослушивания подкастов у владельцев Apple есть родное приложение, называется «podcasts». Android пользователи могут использовать приложение «Podcast Addict».

Сразу стоит пояснить, что подкасты очень сильно развивают понимание английской речи, особенно, если вы слушаете подкасты разных жанров и разного уровня сложности. Если вы слушаете подкасты регулярно, мозг привыкает к английской речи => вам становится проще понимать контекст предложения => ваш прогресс в изучении английского становится больше.

От себя добавлю, что лучший прогресс получается тогда, когда вы загоняете себя в стрессовую ситуацию. Для нашего мозга стрессовая ситуация — это тогда, когда для решения задачи требуется больше усилий, чем наш мозг ожидал или ситуация возникла внезапно и требует немедленного решения этой задачи. Так вот, к чему я это? Я к тому, что нужно слушать те подкасты, которые вам НЕ комфортно слушать, я имею в виду, те подкасты, слушая которые, понимание материала МЕНЕЕ 70 процентов. В таком случае, вы будете напрягаться, для вас это будет своеобразный challenge, вы будете расти и, от этого будет больше толку, чем от того, что вы слушаете то, что не вызывает у вас напряжения.

Для себя я выделила два варианта прослушивания подкастов:

1) Целенаправленное прослушивание. Вы выделяете специально время, выписываете непонятные слова, заносите их в словарь, занимаетесь их разбором. Вы концентрируетесь только на том материале, который вы прослушиваете. Для такого варианта очень подходят те подкасты, понимание которых, вызывает у вас трудности.

2) Вы слушаете подкасты и параллельно занимаетесь какими-то делами, такими как, поездка на работу, готовка, занятие в зале. Вы слушаете то, что говорят, но концентрируетесь на речи не полностью. Толку, разумеется, от такого варианта меньше, чем от предыдущего, но он есть. Ваш мозг не зависимо от вас, фиксирует слова и выражения и, когда вы встретите эти слова в каком-либо тексте, для вас они покажутся знакомыми. Для этого варианта подходят подкасты которые вам приятно слушать.

Сначала мне показалось это странным и необычным — изучать английский отходя от обычных методов аудирования. Было немного непривычно, как будто слушаешь радио… Вроде и занимаешься серьезным делом, в вроде это как развлечение. Anyway. Мне стало интересно, я втянулась и, вот итог, я готова дать детальное описание моих любимых подкастов.

Я начну описывать подкасты исходя из их уровня сложности, то есть пойдем от легкого к сложному.
