Интересный факт: игры с дополненной реальностью (или просто AR) появились давным-давно, и практически любой гаджет, где есть камера, способен с ними справиться. Но популярности у этого жанра до сих пор нет. Может, дело в том, что большинство таких проектов требуют от пользователя каких-то физических усилий — бегать, прыгать, на улицу выйти, в конце концов. А может, человечество просто подсознательно боится, что если дополненная реальность уверенно вклинится в нашу жизнь, то со временем мы перестанем различать границу между настоящим и виртуальным. И сбудутся прогнозы идеологов киберпанка (а также бабушек, которые свято верят, что компьютер «засасывает»). Тем не менее, AR-разработки — очень интересный и малоизученный формат. Чтобы восполнить пробел, мы приводим пять отличных проектов, где основная камера — главный участник происходящего.

Real Strike — The Original 3D Augmented Reality FPS Gun App

Real Strike (полное название, пожалуй, писать не будем) — отличный пример для любителей апокалиптических выводов: даже в официальном описании приложения на iTunes первой строкой идёт предупреждение, что не надо стрелять в людей из реального оружия.

Перепутать действительно можно: вы заходите в игру, а на экране — то, что видит объектив смартфона, плюс наложенная сверху модель оружия. Щёлкнули по экрану — выстрелили. Внутриигровых противников нет, так что придётся отыгрываться на людях: можно «расстрелять» шумящего соседа по комнате, назойливого преподавателя в университете или тихонько «снимать» из снайперской винтовки прохожих. Главное — не попасться, а то придут люди в форме.

Для пущей аутентичности Real Strike позволяет включать инфракрасный и ночной режим: можно охотиться за нерадивыми домашними в тёмное время суток. И, конечно, мы присоединяемся к разработчикам в вопросе использования оружия в реальном мире — не забывайте, что игра всегда остается игрой.
