If you misplace your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, the Find My iPhone app will let you use any iOS device to find it and protect your data. Simply install this free app, open it, and sign in with the Apple ID you use for iCloud. Find My iPhone will help you locate your missing device on a map, remotely lock it, play a sound, display a message, or erase all the data on it.

For missing iOS devices, Find My iPhone also includes Lost Mode. Lost Mode locks your device with a passcode and can display a custom message and contact phone number right on the Lock Screen. While in Lost Mode, your device can keep track of where it has been and report back so you can view its recent location history, right from the Find My iPhone app.

Please note that Find My iPhone must be enabled in iCloud settings on your device before you can locate it with this app.

• Play a sound for two minutes at full volume (even if your device is set to silent)

• Remotely lock your device with a passcode

• Display a custom message on the Lock Screen

• View recent location history of your device while in Lost Mode (iOS devices)

• Get driving directions to device location

• Remotely erase all content and settings on your device

• Battery charge indicator

• View your current location and the location of your missing device on the same map.

• Cancel a pending erase request if your missing device is offline.

How Your Data is used
When you use Find My iPhone, your device’s location, as well as information about your device and your account will be sent to and retained by Apple so Apple can provide you with the service. Your device’s location is only sent to Apple if you actively request the location of a device or accessory. If you choose to enable the Send Last Location feature, your device’s last known location will be automatically sent to Apple any time your device’s battery reaches a critically low level. Apple retains location information and makes it accessible to you for 24 hours, after which it is deleted.

• Find My iPhone 4.0 requires iOS 8 or later and iCloud. You can create a free Apple ID to use with iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac.
• Wi-Fi or cellular internet connection is required. WiFi-only devices must be connected to the Internet via a registered Wi-Fi network to be located.

В приложении нет возможности обновить новые наушники comfobuds pro. Не понимаю, как по одному наушнику обновлять, то левый то правый? Это какой-то квест?

Not great design and connection

Connection to my confounds pro is successful 3 out of 4 times, sometimes I need to relaunch the app to get it connected. Also design is too basic for a well known brand.

Задумка ок, реализация, как часто у китайцев — через опу.

При подключенных наушниках приложение их не видит. Что бы увидело, нужно выключить БТ, закрыть приложение, потом включить БТ, подключить наушники, и вот после этих танцев с бубнами, приложение увидит наушники и даст их настроить.

As terrible as the website

I downloaded this app only because I could not view comments on the website using Safari. Guess what? They don’t work in the app either. I used to love iMore for getting Apple news/tips but since they have redesigned the website and app both are equally as horrible of a layout and usability is poor. I still get their RSS feeds but what used to be my favorite apple news site is now probably the worst I subscribe to any more.

Clean Design, Stays Current

iMore’s app stays true to the look and feel of its website with a clean design and streamlined UI. Unobtrusive ads and it’s current news keep me coming back. Not to mention all the features I’ve used like saving articles and notifications are all free. Navigating the site is a breeze as everything is clearly labeled and searching is highly accurate to what I’m looking for. The only issue I see with this version is that at times the app is sluggish to load articles but I haven’t experienced any bugs or glitches.

The app freezes.

Sometimes out of the blue , the app freezes.
I like the app’s layout, but I find that it doesn’t immediately update with the website.

Other than that I like the app overall.

Obviously Perfect

A critical part of the Apple experience beyond elegance in design, beyond product reliability, and beyond integrity in handling those rare occasions when support is needed, is simple thoughtfulness. The facility of use, the intuitive UI, and the ease and simplicity of discovering more and more commands effortlessly is what makes the Apple experience what it is. This is at the root of the deeply held loyalty of Apple customers.

This app is an extension of the Apple experience for purposes of buying from Apple. Nothing bad, nothing surprising, it just works as you would expect it to. Perfectly.

Disappointed

I tried to order some apple products this past Black Friday weekend with no resolve. I tried to pay for the items in my cart using Apple Pay which has my debit card, two different credit cards, and my one-week-old Apple Card. All cards have a close to zero or zero balance and work for reoccurring monthly payments as well as recent purchases at my regular grocery shopping. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with over four different phone calls with three additional apple employees. I figured there were issues with Apple being overloaded with Black Friday/Cyber Monday orders on Saturday, so I tried Sunday and again on Monday. I tried all my Apple Pay payment options and always got “Payment Not Processed.” I made sure my iOS and Apple store app were up to date. I deleted and reinstalled the Apple Store app. I restarted my phone—all of which the Apple employees had me do again over my phone calls with them. So Thursday and Friday, the apple store didn’t work. I invested in the Apple ecosystem to not deal with tech issues. I invested three extra hours in helping Apple become aware of its problems and get more orders. I missed out on the $25 Black Friday gift card, and this issue still isn’t resolved within this version of the Apple Store app and my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I wish someone would help me as much as I have helped apple become of this issue.

Don’t recommend

So on October 12 I ordered AirPods through the apple online store expecting really good service well NO I ordered them on October 12 and it said they would arrive around oct 20-22 well It took longer than that and I was like ahh it’s probably just late days pass and pass so it’s nov first and I had to do some so I contacted customer service through service wanted to save time and was attended really well but I told him my order was taking longer than what it was originally supposed to be I wasn’t trying to make a big deal he said yea my package got lost and he would REPLACE it for a new pair. I check my order status and it says I have to return air pods in order to get a replacement but wait I never even got my AirPods so I was tired of it and callled customer service and this guy was very RUDE about and said he couldn’t find my billing order so I was really frustrated about that. Later that day I called again because this wasn’t okay anymore so I called and this really nice lady helped me out and omg my billing number was there so she helped me out and today I received my stuff but don’t recommend it’s too much of a problem for a simple object not worth it don’t purchase from here just go to the store. Some guy from customer service was sooo rude l
