Open the charging case.
On your mobile device, tap Settings -> Bluetooth and then connect earbuds and mobile devices.
Launch the Samsung Galaxy Buds app, and the follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.

Dear user, this application has been developed for Galaxy Buds+ and it does not support the Galaxy Buds released last year.
Buds+ has improved its performance and usability through an enhancement of both the hardware and software. Especially, by having a new chip that has a better connectivity and memory, Buds+ features an improved connectivity. In addition, it is compatible with iOS devices.
Since iOS compatibility is made possible through the new chip, it is supported only for Galaxy Buds+. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience it may cause and we really appreciate your understanding.

Если вы не можете создать дополнительное приложение для первого поколения продукта buds, пишите на упаковке Samsung galaxy buds, что они не предназначены для iOS! Ни на одном сайте нет информации об этом. Я потратила большую сумму на ваши наушники, а теперь должна пытаться вернуть их, потому что заявленные функции на айфоне работать не будут! Это верх неуважения к клиентам, я разочарована.
Потратила кучу времени на поиски идеальной модели, выбрала именно Вас и разочаровалась как никогда в жизни. Даже словами не описать.
Самое ужасное, что я прочла в ответ на гнев покупателей, это предложение купить наушники второго поколения. А деньги людям кто вернёт?! Во многих магазинах откажут в возврате так как они работают, да без функций но работают же! «Нужно внимательнее читать мелкий шрифт, где написано что совместимо с андроид (без слова «только». )» сама ни за что больше не выберу Samsung!

Buds+ has been built with a new chip which enhances connectivity and provides better memory. Due to the implementation of the new chip, Galaxy Buds+ are compatible with iOS devices.
Sadly, this compatibility limitation cannot be addressed with a software update. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience it may cause and we would really appreciate your understanding.

What’s New
In the new version some features have been stabilized to provide better service.
— The “Automations” have been renamed to “Routines”.
— In the “Add Routine” feature, go to the “Discover” tab and select from a list of recommended routines.
— Continue to add legacy SmartApps through the “Add Routines” menu.
— Add “Routines” directly from the device details screen. (*home appliances and some devices are not supported)
— SmartThings app is now available on your Apple watch. View your notifications as well as execute your scenes.

April update
Fixed my issue with alarm notifications and appreciate the other improvements made with the April release. Thanks.
In most part I’m 100% in agreement with the previous review about the new Feb 2019 update. However, once I changed(Reorder) the home page, I do not have the issue with my home page resetting back to the default after I close the app & then reopen it on my iOS device. And who uses the term “Reorder” to to identify the procedure to rearrange, edit or manage the home screen? I originally thought it was for reordering of more devices. I do agree there is too much wasted space and would prefer the information being a little more condensed vs. having to scroll down the page. And, I also agree with the alerts/alarms. I’ve checked my settings numerous times, but if my iPhone is locked or if I do not have the App open, I do not receive /hear any notification from the App of a sensor being tripped. Notification can be resolved with IFTTT but would think the App itself would be able to provide that notification. I would the ability to remove a room from the home page, but have yet to find a way to do so. I do appreciate the improvements that Samsung made in an effort to improve the App and suspect there is a learning curve on my part, but I would like the user to have the capability/flexibility to manage their home screen the way the user wants it vs how Samsung thinks it should be.

Working better
Much better but I am having issues with some app integrations. like smart life and Meross.
Update (8/1/20): Emailed and also called and spoke with someone at SmartThings to try to solve my issue with the device integrations. SmartThings customer service were very easy to contact and where very kind and helpful. They tried to help as best as they could but it appears that not many Smart Life app devices are currently compatible. Hopefully this will change in the near future. Meross said and SmartThings confirmed that they are working to improve their integrations in the coming weeks so hopefully my issue of not being able to turn on device in SmartThings will be resolved soon. Tp Link Kasa app and Bond app integrations with those devices are working great! So, in short I believe SmartThings developers are working hard to improve the app integrations and experience which I really appreciate. They have also been very responsive and easy to contact for help. I just received a reply to this review as well which is also why I am adding a star to my review. I will add the fifth star once I am able to fully integrate my smart home in the SmartThings app! Thank you SmartThings for continuing to work to improve your app and the customer experience.

Poor Design New Update
The new update takes what was a very nice, clean and sophisticated looking design and makes it look amateurish. The cards or widgets or whatever they call them are now crammed with the room name, the device name, an icon, an on-off switch and other information. The result is a lot of truncated words and a confusing array which makes it very hard to quickly spot a device you might want to access. The cards on the favorites tab (which replaces the old home page) can be moved around. But they can no longer be organized by room so they are just a bunch of cards lined up in horizontal rows. Unless you go to devices, it’s hard to see all the devices in a single room. But in that devices tab you have to scroll through a separate page for each room to find the devices. Those rooms used to be all listed together on one page on the home screen with the devices listed under the heading. AND you could also go to a room page. On that rooms page all the rooms were listed on the one page (showing the number of devices in that room) with each room being a button that you could press to go to that room. Now it’s just scroll page by page. To me this is a big step backwards. I really wish I could undo the update I made on my iPad. But at least I did not update my iPhon once I saw the design of the updated app. So I’ll hold off on any iPhone update until they hopefully fix some of this bad design — but I’m not holding my breath.
