Описание игры
Игра представляет собой раннер, но здесь присутствуют своего рода отхождения от классического варианта игр данного жанра. В первую очередь здесь хорошо развит сюжет. Всем, кто хорошо знаком со вселенной Соника, известны его друзья: двухвостый лисенок по прозвищу Тейлз, который может бегать почти так же быстро, как сам Соник, а также летать с помощью своих хвостов, используя их как пропеллер; красная ехидна Наклз, который должен отыскать все куски огромного изумруда; ежиха Эми, влюбленная в Соника; большой лиловый кот Биг, который любит ловить рыбку, а также робот Е 120 Гамма, перешедший на сторону добра от главнейшего врага Соника и его друзей – доктора Роботника.
Именно за эту шестерку (Соника и его друзей и сторонников) вам и придется играть в Sonic Adventure 2. Русская версия на Android представляет собой своеобразную переработку одноименной игры на приставку Sega Dreamcast.
Общий сюжет сводится к тому, что герои должны помочь Сонику победить доктора Роботника, но делают они это весьма своеобразно. Прохождение каждого персонажа отлично от остальных, ведь каждый обладает разными навыками. Так, Соник очень быстро бегает, равно как, к примеру, и Тейлз, а вот Наклз отличается тем, что с помощью своих острых кастетов, закрепленных на руках, может рыть землю и карабкаться по отвесным поверхностям. Эти навыки нужны ему, чтобы отыскать разлетевшиеся осколки изумруда. Эми Роуз носит с собой огромный молот, которым оглушает противников, а кот Биг ходит с удочкой, что является его отличительной чертой. Многие критики и игроки негативно отзываются о Биге, поскольку он довольно неповоротлив, а рыбалка отнимает много времени, но этот персонаж весьма оригинален в сравнении с другими.
У каждого персонажа есть набор предметов, которые как-то модифицируют его и его способности. Так, Сонику доступные специальные ускоряющие ботинки и браслет, аккумулирующий его скорость, Тейлзу доступна брошь, позволяющая атаковать врагов, Бигу достается улучшение удочки и так далее. Эти и многие другие улучшения можно обнаружить, если очень внимательно проходить каждый уровень Sonic Adventure 2.

Взломанный Sonic Adventure 2
На этот раз создатели игры решили несколько «американизировать» главного персонажа, которым все так же остается синий еж Соник. В игре так же появился захватывающий сюжет, которого так не хватало первым приставочным частям.
Особенности
Сюжет игры как раз и стал причиной многочисленных споров.
Приложение Sonic Adventure 2 отличается хорошо проработанной сюжетной линией, поэтому пользователь на каждом уровне отлично понимает, куда бежит Соник и зачем ему это надо.
Сюжет и действие в игре
Пользователь по-прежнему может выбирать любого из 6 предложенных персонажей. При этом они разлаются на команды, в каждой из которых по 3 участника. Естественно, переплетение судеб этих героев осталась неизмененной.
Но в этом случае 6 отдельных сценариев было заменено тремя. Практически на любом уровне вам нужно пробегать из стартовой до конечной точки. На бегу вы будете сбивать различных врагов, а также собирать разнообразные бонусы.

Sonic the Hedgehog is probably one of the most recognizable video game characters out there, together with Mario and maybe Gordon Freeman. However, the series has been dedicated to consoles right from the start, so PC gamers rarely got the chance to play with Sonic, even if there were some attempts at making it available on computers as well.
A retro platformer inspired by the original release
Sonic Adventure Emerald is an 8-bit platformer that basically recreates the same atmosphere like in the old SEGA titles, only you can enjoy it on a PC. The same color scheme is used, as well as some of the same environments and animations. In essence, the game was created to look as close to the original as possible, in order to appeal to the nostalgics out there.
Although it is not a complete game yet, you do have three different levels to choose from, each one of which comes with different kinds of challenges. The themes are different as well, which means that they look entirely different and the experience is unique as well. Other than that, Sonic’s purpose is unchanged: to go as fast as he can, collect the rings, and beat the high score.
Tricky levels and incredible speeds
In case you have forgotten, Sonic is a very paced platformer series, which means that half the time you won’t even get to see anything else than a blur and a lot of blue. However, some sections require a bit of practice as well, which is where the control problems might arise. Unlike with a controller, the keyboard is a tad more difficult to use in the genre, but you can get used to it after a while.
The levels are also crawling with a variety of traps and enemies, all of which can seriously harm you if you happen to bump into them. When you get damaged, you lose a portion of the rings you have managed to acquire until that point. If you run out of rings, you die and have to try again from the previous checkpoint. Naturally, falling into a pit kills you instantly, so the rings can’t always be of help.
A good reboot to please the nostalgics
All in all, Sonic Adventure Emerald may be rather short, but the atmosphere is all there and everyone who is familiar with the original series can see that it comes very close to that. In addition, the fast-paced gameplay should be as dizzying as it was back on the old consoles.
