  • Что такое Substratum?
    Substratum — движок тем, имеющий ряд особенностей: применение наслоений без перезагрузок, смену анимации загрузки и шрифтов, приоритетное применение разных тем.

Отличия lite-версии Substratum от обычной
substratum lite theme engine отличается от обычного Substratum Theme Engine наличием только самых нужных функций. Поэтому не все темы поддерживаются сабжем.
Эти приложения созданы разными разработчиками.

Как применить тему?
Применение темы состоит из двух частей: установки наслоений и их включения. Сначала нужно установить наслоения (вкладка «Темы» > открываем тему > устанавливаем наслоения для нужных приложений). Дальше надо перезагрузить устройство и включить установленные наслоения во вкладке «Менеджер».

После применения темы некоторые элементы криво смотрятся, что происходит?
1. Перезапустите SystemUI.
2. Перезагрузите устройство.
3. Отмените применение наслоений и/или удалите их, пересоберите и примените заново.

Обновил ранее темированное приложение и оно не запускается и вылетает с ошибкой, что не так?
Новая версия несовместима с установленным наложением. Выключите и удалите его. Подождите, пока разработчик темы выпустит обновление с поддержкой новой версии этого приложения.

Хочу обновить ПО, но у меня установлен Substratum. Что делать?
Выключите установленные наслоения и обновляйтесь. Если в новом ПО обновлены/изменены какие-то из темированных приложений, лучше предварительно удалить наслоения этих приложений. После обновления установите их заново (если тема поддерживает новые версии приложений).

  • А как насчёт работы сабжа на какой-то фирменной оболочке?
    Сабж был проверен создателем темы только на MIUI 10 на Android 9.0, все работало нормально. Но установка на свой страх и риск. Даже в случае, если всё работает, дальнейшая поддержка вашего кастомного UI не гарантируется.
    ⚠️ Ни в коем случае не темируйте системные приложения с интерфейсом, отличным от интерфейса таковых на чистом Android. Проще говоря, темированию на фирменных оболочках подлежат только гугловские и другие установленные приложения.
