About The Golden Apple Series
Vihra (Vee) wanted to shake up her town’s tired traditions. Now she’s awoken centuries of magical folklore – both whimsically light and dangerously dark! A serialised , 13×26” epic action-adventure show with a comedic kick, The Golden Apple (also presented as Vee and the Golden Apple) is a tale rooted in the rich world of Balkan folklore — an exciting, bizarre, sometimes frightening world which hasn’t been shown on screen before. At its heart, it’s a celebration of Balkan traditions of old, and just like the most thrilling folk tales, it’s ultimately about the monsters within, and the choices we make to either feed or slay them.
The Golden Apple was the reason Studio Zmei was created in 2016, and the project around which our entire team began working together. After years of research, 2 successful crowd-funding campaigns, several short films in the same universe, a few books, tours, and countless presentations, our project in development gathered 45 000+ followers on social media and a very active fan base in Bulgaria and in the Balkans.
In 2019, the French company Dandelooo became the official majority co-producer of the project,allowing further funding to continue the development process. Keeping true to the source material, the show-runner Dimitar Petrov started working with the experienced animation writers Henry Gifford and Baljeet Rai. At the same time, he also continued working on the visual style of the show with lead character designer Marta Andreeva, upgrading every aspect of the production.
Since 2020, The Golden Apple, currently presented as Vee and The Golden Apple, is in negotiations with a major international broadcaster. We hope to be able to share more of the new artwork soon, as well as news about the project, but this could take time. We are, however, forever grateful for all the fantastic support, patience and energy of everyone who helped us along the way!

После смерти своей жены отец Ген Сук, Ген Ку и Гин Мин женился вновь на женщине с дочерью по имени Гым Шиль. Однако брак не был счастливым. Новая жена продолжила встречаться с местным толстосумом Пак Бен Самом, который подался в политику и баллотируется в Парламент
Вскоре после выборов тело женщины нашли в реке, а у в убийстве обвинили отца. Позднее он скончался в полиции, так и не дожив до суда.
Бен Сам, который, к слову, был настоящим отцом Гым Шиль предлагает ей работу в Сеуле. Помимо этого, в Сеул переезжает и старшая дочь Ген Сук, которая заботиться о своих братьях и мечтает очистить имя своего отца. Ее главный подозреваемый — Пак Бен Сам. Но все осложняется тем, что девушка влюбилась в его сына.

25-летний Ханамаки Микото – врач скорой помощи. У Микото есть одна способность, о которой он никому не может рассказать. Молодой человек, прикоснувшись к чьей-то руке, может увидеть последний момент жизни её обладателя. Когда Микото был маленьким, умерла его мама, а отец женился во второй раз. Трое детей мачехи от предыдущего её брака теперь стали семьей Микото. Среди них и 28-летняя Сара, к которой Микото испытывает далеко не братские чувства. Однажды, прикоснувшись к её руке, Микото «видит», что девушка умрет на своё 28-летие. Желая спасти любимую, Микото отчаянно пытается найти способ, чтобы спасти её. Но все осложняется тем, что все его «видения» ранее сбывались, несмотря на все те усилия, которые Микото прикладывал в качестве врача скорой помощи. The Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Teaching & Leadership was the idea of Golden Apple founders Mike and Patricia Koldyke, who felt that excellent teachers did not receive adequate recognition for their contributions to building a stronger, better-educated society.
Every year since 1986, Golden Apple has selected master teachers to receive the prestigious Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. In 2014, Golden Apple began honoring exemplary school leaders with the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Leadership in honor of Stanley C. Golder.
Golden Apple Award recipients play an important role in preparing the next generation of teachers by providing instruction and mentorship to future teachers in the Golden Apple Scholars and Accelerators programs — programs dedicated to addressing the teacher shortage in Illinois.
ACADEMY OF EDUCATORS
Golden Apple Award recipients become lifetime members of the Golden Apple Academy of Educators.
