Install custom enterprise apps on iOS
Learn how to install and establish trust for custom apps that your organization creates.
This article is intended for system administrators for a school, business, or other organization.
Your organization can use the Apple Developer Enterprise Program to create and distribute proprietary enterprise iOS apps for internal use. You must establish trust for these apps before you can open them.
If you install an app by Mobile Device Management (MDM), trust is automatically established. If you manually install an app, you must also manually establish trust.
Apple recommends that you use an MDM solution to distribute the apps. This method is secure and doesn’t require user interaction. You can also install custom apps from a secure website that your organization operates. If you don’t install apps from your organization, download and install apps only from the Apple App Store. This is the best way to protect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Manually install and trust an enterprise app
When you first open an enterprise app that you’ve manually installed, you see a notification that the developer of the app isn’t trusted on your device. You can dismiss this message, but then you can’t open the app.
After you dismiss this message, you can establish trust for the app developer. Tap Settings > General > Profiles or Profiles & Device Management. Under the «Enterprise App» heading, you see a profile for the developer.
Tap the name of the developer profile under the Enterprise App heading to establish trust for this developer.
Then you see a prompt to confirm your choice. After you trust this profile, you can manually install other apps from the same developer and open them immediately. This developer remains trusted until you use the Delete App button to remove all apps from the developer.
You must be connected to the Internet to verify the app developer’s certificate when establishing trust. If you’re behind a firewall, make sure that it’s configured to allow connections to https://ppq.apple.com. If you aren’t connected to the Internet when you trust an app, the device displays «Not Verified» instead. To use the app, connect to the Internet and tap the Verify App button.
After you verify an app for the first time, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch must reverify the app developer’s certificate periodically to maintain trust. If you can’t reverify, you may see a message that verification will expire soon. To maintain trust, connect your device to the Internet, then tap the Verify App button or launch the app.

Obviously Perfect
A critical part of the Apple experience beyond elegance in design, beyond product reliability, and beyond integrity in handling those rare occasions when support is needed, is simple thoughtfulness. The facility of use, the intuitive UI, and the ease and simplicity of discovering more and more commands effortlessly is what makes the Apple experience what it is. This is at the root of the deeply held loyalty of Apple customers.
This app is an extension of the Apple experience for purposes of buying from Apple. Nothing bad, nothing surprising, it just works as you would expect it to. Perfectly.
Disappointed
I tried to order some apple products this past Black Friday weekend with no resolve. I tried to pay for the items in my cart using Apple Pay which has my debit card, two different credit cards, and my one-week-old Apple Card. All cards have a close to zero or zero balance and work for reoccurring monthly payments as well as recent purchases at my regular grocery shopping. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with over four different phone calls with three additional apple employees. I figured there were issues with Apple being overloaded with Black Friday/Cyber Monday orders on Saturday, so I tried Sunday and again on Monday. I tried all my Apple Pay payment options and always got “Payment Not Processed.” I made sure my iOS and Apple store app were up to date. I deleted and reinstalled the Apple Store app. I restarted my phone—all of which the Apple employees had me do again over my phone calls with them. So Thursday and Friday, the apple store didn’t work. I invested in the Apple ecosystem to not deal with tech issues. I invested three extra hours in helping Apple become aware of its problems and get more orders. I missed out on the $25 Black Friday gift card, and this issue still isn’t resolved within this version of the Apple Store app and my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I wish someone would help me as much as I have helped apple become of this issue.
Don’t recommend
So on October 12 I ordered AirPods through the apple online store expecting really good service well NO I ordered them on October 12 and it said they would arrive around oct 20-22 well It took longer than that and I was like ahh it’s probably just late days pass and pass so it’s nov first and I had to do some so I contacted customer service through service wanted to save time and was attended really well but I told him my order was taking longer than what it was originally supposed to be I wasn’t trying to make a big deal he said yea my package got lost and he would REPLACE it for a new pair. I check my order status and it says I have to return air pods in order to get a replacement but wait I never even got my AirPods so I was tired of it and callled customer service and this guy was very RUDE about and said he couldn’t find my billing order so I was really frustrated about that. Later that day I called again because this wasn’t okay anymore so I called and this really nice lady helped me out and omg my billing number was there so she helped me out and today I received my stuff but don’t recommend it’s too much of a problem for a simple object not worth it don’t purchase from here just go to the store. Some guy from customer service was sooo rude l

Ratings and Reviews
Speed controls
The app is not bad but the interface is interface is is very cluttered and there is no way to speed up the video. Of the two, I’d forgive the interface issues if I could speed through the video at 1.5 or 2x’s, slowing down for the sections that are new and unfamiliar.
Right now I’m watching the videos in WebPlayer off the developer site and marking them as viewed in the WWDC app, in the hope that someday the dawn will break, the birds will sing, and most significantly of all, the app will allow me to speed up video.
The sign up process is a nightmare
Just to be clear, this review only covers a small portion of the app, (the only portion I have gotten to so far.) I tried initially signing up for the developer program through the app, but the app wouldn’t accept my photo id and it didn’t give me a reason why. I gave up on the app after 10 attempts and in summary, since then, I have talked to a few support agents which who told me that I probably had to just try it again and I have been hitting errors such as “You cannot currently ___, please try again later”. I’m sure if things go right this app is a great experience, but when things go wrong there is no direction on how to fix it. I eventually figured out that my payment method was expired and that was the issue, but that was after spending hours combing forums to try to solve the problem myself.
Disappointing and has unacceptable bugs
Would give 0 stars if possible. There is no way on iPad to control playback speed. There are so many videos to watch developers need to be able to easily increase playback speed if desired. Tried downloading video hoping this would allow access to speed control. Still no controls for speed and worse yet there is a bug where you are not able to delete the downloaded video so it will take up large amount of space on device forever. These are basic things and it is unbelievable Apple developers created this app and that these basic things don’t work. Very disappointed. Please at least provide a way to delete a downloaded video. Running iOS 12.3.1 on iPad Pro. Desktop version seems to have speed control but didn’t really want to watch the videos on Mac. Prefer to watch on iPad.
