Recently, we found an android PAID app very similar to ViPER4Android.
Judging by the screenshots, its definitely a copy of our app.
We will do an investigation on this following paid app.
Please do not mistaken this above app as V4A. ViPER4Android is always free. Do not fall for this and do not buy it.

This is a normal reaction, heavy bass and high volume could cause permanent damage to the human auditory system, but other phenomena can restore through resting.
Viper as a listening experience professional will not ignore this problem. Therefore put a lot of effort to study how to make a «Healing» sound technology, just a small success. But thinking on how to let users experience it.
★ Convolver ★
When an Impulse Response Sample(IRS) is loaded, V4A will process the sound to show the same characteristics of the loaded sample. Through Convolution, samples with effects such as equalizer, surround, reverberation, tube etc can be loaded.
Download and extract IRS files to /ViPER4Android/Kernel/
★ FX Compatible Mode (Only in 4.x) ★
Compatible Mode supports large variety of music players and the players’ own EQ/sound effects (system-provided/third party)
Therefore, you don’t have to select V4A in Sound Settings > Music Effects, choose anything other than V4A. Just run V4A app and the effects will be working with anything else.
1. In option, switch to Compatible Mode. Reboot, done.
2. In Sound Settings > Music Effects, choose other than V4A.
3. Run V4A app and configure the settings then the effects will work together with the one you chose in Sound Settings.
Note: FX v2.3.2.5 onwards:
1. Fully support x86 platform, but not fully optimised yet. (Using VHS+/Convolver may increase battery usage)
2. Fully support true octa-core devices.
3. Correctly-installed Busybox is required before installing V4A.
If you see V4A installation pop-up loop, its probably due to incomplete root OR htc_audio_effects.conf

Deprecated — Use the New ViPER4Android v2.7:
GO TO THE THREAD LINKED ABOVE. You don’t need to flash any zips. Just install it as a regular apk, allow it to install the drivers, and you’re good to go.
For magisk users: I made a zip on the repo that includes the original vdc’s and my profile converter (will convert your old profiles to the new and better format).
For rootless users: I made a zip to install drivers and such

ALL SUPPORT QUESTIONS FOR 2.7 SHOULD BE AT THE THREAD ABOVE.
This is ViPER4Android FX and Xhifi Unity installers
These installers utilize my Unified installer that can install on Magisk OR System if Magisk is not detected (with Pixel support).

Special Instructions:
- If you already know which original v4a you want to use, just add ‘old’ for 2.3.4.0, ‘mid’ for 2.4.0.1, ‘new’ for 2.5.0.5, or ‘mat’ for material to the zipname prior to flashing.
- If you already know if you want it installed as a user or system app, add «uapp» for user app or «sapp» to system app to zipname.
- If you already know if you want to apply the libstdc++.so lib workaround, add «lib» or «nlib» to zipname (note that there are some devices that are already known to require it and so they’ll apply workaround regardless of choice)
- If you already know if your device/rom requires the v4a open/close/fc audioserver workaround, add «ocw» to zipname. Otherwise, add «nocw» to zipname
- To skip volkeys (if your device isn’t compatible with them), add «novk» to the zipname. Note that if you don’t specify the above, defaults will be applied which are: sapp, new
- Make sure there are no spaces in the zipname

Hi there, I am totally new to XDA and don’t know whether this is the right place to post this or not. I am totally confused. If this isn’t the right place, my request to admin/mods will be to move this post to the right forum. I just want to help.
If you are someone like me who encountered countless problems while installing Viper4Android on your Android 10 or 11 device and have no idea what to do then you are in the right place. Just download and install the apk from the attachment below.
You need to be rooted with magisk but you can still give it a try if you don’t have magisk on your device.
Steps —
* Disable MusicFX or any other sound mod you are using either from Setting/App Manager/Apps or by installing Ainur Narsil magisk module
* Reboot
* Now remove Ainur Narsil magisk module from magisk and install Audio Modification Library (This is required in case you have leftovers from last sound mod)
* Reboot
* Now download the app from the attachment
* Install and open the apk. The app will ask you to install drivers. HIT OK
* The phone will automatically reboot and install Viper4Android magisk module
* Open the app and check. It should be working by now.
If it doesn’t work —
* Install Audio Compatibility Patch magisk module. By now you will have two magisk module installed. (Audio Modification Library and Audio Compatibility Patch)
* Reboot
* Open the app. It should work now
* Still no? — Turn on legacy mode from app setting
* Still no? — Turn on compatibility mode from app setting
V4A should totally work by now
Edit : On one plus phones you need to change your seLinux mode to permissive first and then install viper4android.
Use seLinux Mode Changer for that.

Edit 2 —
If none of the above solution is working for you.
Download Viper4Andrpid app from here
Download latest Magisk 21.4 from here
— Flash magisk from recovery
— Then open the Viper4Andrpid app and it’ll ask you to update the drivers (or won’t, depending on if you already have the drivers installed)
— If phone reboots then open the app again and turn on legacy mode from options
— If phone doesn’t reboot, go to options and turn on legacy mode
It should be working now
If the above two methods don’t work and you have enforcing SELinux, try this.
• Disable MusicFX
• Install magisk 22.1
• Install Ainur Narsil magisk module
• Reboot
• Go to magisk and remove Ainur Narsil magisk module
• Download Viper4Android 2.7.2.1 from here
• Open it. It will ask you to install drivers. Click Ok and the phone will reboot. Don’t panic.
• Open Viper4Android. Turn on Legacy mode. You will see the Viper4Android app icon on your status bar.
• Go to magisk. Install Audio Modification Library magisk module.
• Go to magisk again and install Audio Compatibility Patch magisk and select the options mentioned below —
— Patch Audio Policy : Vol- (no)
— Patch method : Vol+ (new logic)
— Remove notification helper : Vol- (no)
— Patch USB policy for USB dacs? : Vol- (no)
— Use lib workaround: Vol- (no)
• Open your music player and play a song to check if Viper4Android works now
• If you have never used V4A before, just turn on Master Limiter and Speaker Optimization
If that fails too —
• Unistall Viper4Android app
• Remove Audio Compatibility patch
• Reboot
• Install Viper4Android app and open it
• Enable Legacy mode from top right
• Play a song from your Music Player and turn on Master Limiter in the Viper4Android app
• Now turn on speaker optimization
If Viper4Android doesn’t process in the Youtube app or Spotify, install the Audio Compatibility patch like I mentioned above and reboot
If none of the methods above works then it’s likely you messed up somewhere in the process. Unistall all the modules and Viper4Android.
Download the SeLinuxMode Changer app and set your SELinux to permissive. (If you want that)
Release v11.0 · MrBIMC/SELinuxModeChanger
Reboot and go to the top of the post. Follow the very first method.
Edit : If you encounter distorted/buggy/laggy audio, clean install viper4android again. But this time keep Ainur Narsil and Audio Modification Library magisk module installed
In OnePlus devices or OxygenOS roms you might need to install the driver twice or thrice.
