Для почитателей, знатоков комикса и просто людей, понимающих в тактических симуляциях разработчики подготовили The Walking Dead: Assault. Это супер приложение доступно на всех устройствах на популярной базе андроид. Любому из игроков в зависимости от успешности будет предложено пройти по пути американских «выживших» и впитать в себя атмосферу ключевых моментов этого небезызвестного комикса.
Суть игровой задачи до безумия простая и состоит всего из пары основополагающих моментов. Первое, что следует принимать в учёт это то, что на тебя параллельно или отдельно будут частенько обрушиваться нападки полчищ зомбированных людей, которых, судя по названию игрушки, люди знают как ходячих мертвецов. Игрок же должен не только переубивать всех самостоятельно напавших зомбаков, но и отыскать и уничтожить тех, кого не видно. Второе дело, которое необходимо делать одновременно с указанным — нужно своевременно подбирать провизию, любовно разбросанную по уровням The Walking Dead: Assault создателями данной игровой вселенной. Дополнительным бонусом и стимулом к эффективному противостоянию с мертвецами служит возможность выжившим объединяться в команды и проходить все предоставленные разработчиками трудности в компании таких же целеустремленных бойцов как ты. Всего можно одновременно подключать к игре не более четырёх друзей, но и этого не станет мало, ведь каждый из множества персонажей среди которых Карл, Рик, Андреа, Дэйл, Кэрол, Бэт, Лори и Шэйн имеет свои фишки. С некоторых пор для андроид доступен и бонусный новичок The Walking Dead: Assault — загадочный Мишон, который принесёт сюрпризы тем, кто их любит.
Стратегическая игрушка The Walking Dead: Assault по своему интерфейсу многое забрала у комиксоидного первоисточника, герои прорисовываются именно исходя из своих прототипов, изображенных на страницах эпичного комикса. Все действие сюжета происходит под воздействием скудного освещения, эта продуманная деталь заставляет ещё больше задуматься о безысходности положения своих персонажей. Особо чувствительные натуры могут начать испытывать и пробегание мурашек по своей коже из-за боязни очного столкновения с ожившими покойниками. А вот с музыкальными эффектами создатели могли и перестараться, ведь та музыка, что играет основную часть действа больше подойдёт для мощной развязки. Однако когда ты хорошенько разыгрался через андроид в свою версию The Walking Dead: Assault, все эти мелочи уйдут на дальний план.
