The best way to access the XDA forums from your Android device is to use the official XDA app. This app is designed to give users full access to the forums where you can post, search, reply, or track your favorite threads. You can start using the XDA App for free using a new or existing XDA forums account.

The XDA app gives you a combination of our front-page news stories, as well as access to the forums. You’ll be able to receive notifications for important things like replies or new conversations. Keep track of the forums for devices you own by managing your devices. The app will give you direct shortcuts to the forums for those devices that will show up on your main screen.

Your main forums page can also show you all of your watched threads. This brings all of the relevant forum content to a single page that can be accessed at a glance. Use simple gestures to manage your threads and the information you’ll get notifications on.

Check out popular threads under the trending tab, which will show you the threads with the most activity. Then you can view and manage your notifications from the bell icon. You’ll get notifications on replies, messages, achievements, and more.

Your achievements can earn you badges that will be displayed on your profile. This will show other users your different accomplishments. You can also keep track of your overall points that you receive from participating in the forums.

The swipe gestures that are used to manage forums, threads, and posts can be customized in the settings. You can set your default tab and feed to be your own preferred landing pages. More settings let you use the dark mode, security features, notification preferences, account details, and more.

Are there any alternatives besides Eclipse? I haven’t really found any other IDE’s that support android development quite like eclipse.

Downgrade via usb/sd

You NEED USB-OTG -> see the picture

Note: If method 1 doesn’t work, try method 2.

For troubleshooting – see the troubleshooting section

you need HiSuite 10.0.0.510 (find it and download, install it)
1. -Open your dialer inside android
-type *#*#2846579#*#*
-tap on 2. «Veneer Informations»
-tap on 1. «Version Info»
-scroll down to «Base Software Version»
-You will see something like «JNY-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.1.108»
-Just ignore everything after LGRP2, means you need the «JNY-LGRP2» only
-Type «JNY-LGRP2» or any string you find in that info — into textbox from step 1(in the hisuite proxy) and press step 1

2. Find a suitable firmware, check that it’s «FullOTA-MF» and not just OTA-MF, copy the url link next to the date, paste it into the «package url» inside the hisuite proxy
3. Copy the text which is next to the date, on the webpage — paste it to the «firmware version» inside the hisuite proxy
4. Press «Start proxy», connect the phone, authorize with HDB (you should know how to do that)
5. press update in HiSuite — It will download the older firmware and install it

IF method 1 doesn’t work for you (stuck at 5%), try finding the firmware somewhere else, or do what I do

1. find some service where you can download firmware (I use easy-firmware)
2. pay 17$
3. find your firmware, download it, extract using that weird ef extractor

let me just put down a couple ideas:

* People don’t search for «simple text widget»
* I don’t think they even search for «text widget»
* You don’t come up on search results until you have a good number of downloads and a decent rating
* Try to get reviewed on the best news sites like xda, android central, android police etc. to fix point 3 above
* Social sites like fb and twitter only matter if you have tons of followers; still, doing it doesn’t harm

Changing better name will improve the search result..

1 please have a look similar application like yours, name, short description, etc.. Find your self what is missing and fill the gaps.
2 Quality video and screen shots.
3 sharing in social networks.

I made a simple app, first day around 20 downloads and 100 2nd day, 3 days 300, 4th day 550, 6th days 750, All because of proper name and right description.

You can promote your application through different play stores, different app review websites, exchange review , SMO, offline promotion etc.

All this spam.. x offers instant promotion.. thing is it may boost SEO rank, or it may not, but this is all posting stuff to places no humans actually visit. Get your app talked about by the right people. Talk to people for whom your app solves a problem.

Note that if your app looks like garbage, no matter what promotion you do you’ll not get significant downloads.

I have wrote this guide for people like me. I have wrote almost everything I tried when I was promoting my app.

Increase SEO of app..
In app details, enter large no. of keywords related with the app. Also, enter name of other similar popular apps as keyword.

It’ll not just increase visibility in built-in search results, but also on external search engines and curators!

Create a campaign (which not means admob)

By my experience you need prepare your «campaign» before publishing your app on Google Play, to start every possible channels at once. This can create a «snow ball» effect and help with startup your app.

Your app will be 30 days in New App category, there you have a chance get place in top positions.

At the same time try:
1) ask all your testers, friends, family to download and rate your app
2) create a interesting/funny video on Youtube, send it through Twitter, Facebook to your friends and ask them to share
3) create «press release» with all important informations and uniqueness of your app, send it to Android App related servers
4) short info about releasing the app put in all posible announcement forums
5) keep tracking of published info and reviews and put them back to twitter/facebook/.

During the first 30 days you can get some downloads, everything after that will be much harder.

Few words about google play app pronotion

Empirically, I determined that a new application has to be seen through search Google play. Search is all that we have without money for a marketing campaign.
Therefore,application should be optimized in the following order:

1. Application name in google play. This name may be different from the name displayed on the desktop device. The application name contains 30 characters, they should contain the main application keywords.
2. Description of the application must be clear and also contain keywords.
3. Attractive icons are very important.
4. The application must be beautiful and functional. No need to buy a device for $ 300-500 and install an ugly app. People want a beautiful application.
5. Publication of forums mentioned above.
