Like every year, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini offer a new collection of slick wallpapers for you to use. We’ve extracted the new wallpapers directly from iOS 14.1, and you can download them for your iPhone model below.

Update October 20: We’ve updated this post with the stock wallpapers from the iPhone 12 Pro as well. There are four wallpapers, in light and dark mode variants, to match the silver, graphite, pacific blue, and gold iPhone 12 Pro models.

The new iPhone 12 wallpapers continue Apple’s colorful design language with new options in blue, black, green, red, and white to match the iPhone 12 colors. There are light mode and dark mode variants. These are live wallpapers when set through iOS 14.1 on an iPhone 12, but there is unfortunately no easy way for us to share the live mode versions.

To download the wallpapers:

1. Right-click or long-press on the image you want to choose below and open in a new tab
2. Long press again to ‘Save’ on iOS or ‘Save image as’ on macOS

iPhone 12 Pro wallpapers

On November 6, iPhone 12 Pro devices will go on pre-order. I am really excited about the new form factor and how it reminds me of the iPhone 5. Additionally, the new iPhone 12 Pro colors are making it hard for me to pick which one I like best — they are all really attractive! To celebrate the new devices, the iPhone 12 Pro wallpapers will at least give you a taste of the fun while waiting for your new device to arrive.

For some strange reason, Apple always uses really cool wallpapers to advertise their devices, but never releases them to the wild. Honestly, they should be built into iOS when the devices come to market. We are left searching for them without any help from Apple.

I’m most excited for the Pacific Blue, but am struggling to pass off the feeling I might prefer silver/white. Asking myself why I wouldn’t want the new color, I think I landed on the reason white keeps coming back to me. The iPhone 5s was the first and only iPhone I purchased in white. iPhone 12’s lineup so closely resembles the glory days of the iPhone 5 form factor, I may go back to white as a result. Keep the good vibes going.

Apple launched this year’s (2020) flagship phones with the iPhone 12 series. The 12th generation Apple iPhones come in 5 variants this year including iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, and a new entry called iPhone 12 Mini. These phones are 5th generation devices all supporting 5G network along with 4G LTE as well. The most intriguing part about the iPhone 12 is Apple adaption to the newly available technology. While it does not include 120 Hz screen refresh rate (or Pro Motion display), it does come with Apple’s in-house A14 Bionic chipset. This is Apple’s fastest SoC in smartphones till date. While the launch date was set for November this year, Apple launched iPhone 12 on October 13, 2020.

Moreover, Apple just announced the stunning iOS 14 which will come pre-installed onto the iPhone 12 series at launch. The phones will also feature HDR display, True Tone, Wide color (P3), Haptic Touch. The software also includes some stunning wallpapers.
